Great climbing perch. cats love it. they also use it as scratching post scent soaker. Following the instructions I purchased an 8mm drill bit only to discover the wall plugs did not fit. on measuring the wall plugs I discovered they were 10mm. Perches now mounted securely. Instructions need updating.

Really high quality product. The material covering the perch is woven so should fray less quickly than my scratching posts which I'm always replacing.It's not been up 5 minutes and the cats love it (see photos!)Needs an 8mm drill bit, took a bit of work getting it into my wall which wasn't plasterboard, but due to the long fixing it's really stable once it's up. It comes with the screw and raw plug to attach it to the wall, once the fitting is in place it just twists on.Would highly recommend. Would but again, particularly in a lighter colour to match my decor.

reasonably easy to put up would be best on an external wall, overall most of my cats have been curious and a few have been scratching on it, they do seem to prefer to use it as a navigating step to other things like my drawer units as some cant make the jump alone . little catnip on it and they were more than happy to scratch its pretty well made so should last a while even with the 17 cats i have going on it am waiting for my heavy tom to have a crack on it but getting a decent picture is hard with moving felines

I had been looking at these for a while as I thought they looked fun.As I had only purchased One, i put it next to my cat shelves so they could access it easily. As you can see my brown girl Sia loves it and uses it to sharpen her claws. My little one didn’t mange so well as he’s still at his clumsy stage.Bottom line, would I recommend it yes I would. It is sturdy and it looks really good. But to get the best use out of it you need more than one and possibly one of the beds. This is why I gave it a 4 rather than a 5. However my cats would probably give it a 5

 Very happy with this purchase. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow and we had it up within 5 minutes. The scratchy surface feels very durable and like it will take a lot of battering from little paws before any replacement is required. The dark wood is a lovely modern touch that would fit in with anyone's decor. The perch itself feels very stable even in my plasterboard wall ( we did our best to locate the studs)My cat is already obsessed with it after only a day of installation and enjoys the 360 scratching access. She is not the most graceful so we are not yet 'perching' on it yet but it doesn't stop her scratching away and using it. I'm sure with a little more practice, we will have her on it in no time.Very pleased and overjoyed with her happiness. Would definitely purchase from Art of Paws again.

Great looking product, but low score for installation. The whole post ias expected to be supported in the wall by a single screw, which is not going to support much weight. Found it to keep turning the raw plug in the wall. In the end I drilled 3 holes into the round base and screwed it to the wall, then screwed on the post. So very fiddly! Needs a better fixing method out the box

My royal python is not very good at climbing, but she loves to try anyway. These cat perches are perfect for her, as they're sturdy enough to support a 2kg snake and they're easy to install inside a vivarium. The long screws go through the walls and stick out, but the perches are securely attached, so it's not really a problem.

Very well made and stylish cat perch, had a slight problem installing, but think that was more of a problem with my plasterboard walls, so put on an external wall in end and feels very sturdy! My cat seened to quite like sitting on it, would be good to have a few going up the wall.
