The main thing I liked about this privacy screen is that it is less expensive than most of the other ones I've found. I have to have this for my school exams, and it does the trick. I sit in an exam room with 100 other people, and I can't tell any difference in the quality of this one and most of the others. The adhesives have held on strong for me. Maybe important to note is that I leave the privacy screen on 24/7, so that could help with the durability. In terms of vision, like with all privacy screens, angle is important. If someone is standing directly behind you they will be able to see what you're doing. But if someone is 2 feet off to your side all they see is black.In terms of battery life? I guess it's asking because you will likely want to turn up your brightness with the screen protector on. The screen is visibly darker for you when you're using it, but not to any degree where you will become unable to see the screen yourself. And to be honest, the darker you can handle the screen, the less likely other people will be able to see what you're doing (darker for you, darker for everyone else too). I can still use this laptop to watch videos on youtube, read news articles, and do anything else. It has not affected usability one bit.

Had to trim it a little with a razor knife to fit my screen. Works well and using it right now as I type. I never remove it and forget it is even on the screen. It does dim the screen a little but that is expected. I like the extra privacy it offers.

I bought this hoping it would be a great privacy filter for my laptop. Boy, was I wrong!1. It comes with crap instructions.2. The glue on the tabs gets all over everything.3. The tabs don't hold the screen in place. The whole thing just slides downward (see photo).4. There's a line right down the middle of the filter. And no, it's not a film.Do not...DO NOT... buy this poor quality and inadequate product.

I am only disappointed because I didn't understand it's purpose. It is NOT for use in the sun or outside to reduce glare outside. It is for privacy as it says. I work from home so it was more important that I be able to sit outside and still be able to read my screen on sunny days. Other than that, it's a great product anyway.

The privacy filter was a bit too big for the monitor I purchased it for, despite measuring and re-measuring before ordering. This means the filter doesn't sit as close to the screen as I would like and thus the viewing angles are reduced dramatically. The filter itself doesn't provide as crisp of an image as the filter I already have on my second monitor. Overall I would not re-purchase.

Wow works so well my husband and kids thought my computer was off!

So disappointing! The adhesive tabs given to hold up plastic film kept sliding down along with the screen, and also were very awkward to install srcreen [plastic sheet] into. The privacy aspect did work but those sliding tabs sabataged whole thing. Glad I could return it!

Excellent screen protector that has a glossy and a matte side. I prefer to use the slide mount tabs rather than the sticky tape as my screen has a bezel but I can understand if someone wants to use the double sided sticky tape for a screen without a bezel.
