I would never drink a nettle tea but itself but infused with other ingredients..
I would never drink a nettle tea by itself, because it has a very spinach herbal taste that it’s not very appetizing. I guess if you wanted to think of it like a spinach soup, it might be OK, but I just don’t like the taste by itself. I add stronger tea taste to this to mask the mild spinach flavor. Teas like ginger, hibiscus, mint, fennel, adding things like lemon zest also helps mask the flavor a bitNettle has a lot of medicinal properties to it, and you can look it up, because Amazon doesn’t like us talking about medicinal issues with the reviews. I find that the health benefits to this works for me.

Tastes like spinach to me
I have been experimenting with different teas that may have beneficial effects. There have been many that were just too pungent to actually enjoy. This one isn’t bad at all. It tastes a lot like spinach, but is a little stronger in flavor. It’s one that I drink more often. I will be buying it again.

To expensive for little amount
It’s too dry , after making the tea the leafs crumble to much it’s going down to the strainers, too expensive for the little amount of the product, very disappointing

Helps my stomach but doesn't taste great
I find that my indigestion settles a bit when I drink this. The taste is vegetal and strong and I don't particularly care for it, and it's not great for blending because it tends to dominate other flavors; your mileage may vary.

Nice tasting tea, mild flavor
I found this tea has a mild flavor and is easy to drink, no caffeine so you can have it pretty much any time of the day. A bit tricky to measure because the jar has loose leaves and stems that don't fit in your teaspoon measure very well. Since a lot of the reviews said this has an intense flavor I think I'll try adding more tea next time.I've never had Nettle Leaf tea before this so I really don't know what it's supposed to taste like. To me it tasted reasonably earthy with the same sort of herbal overtones you get in a lot of herbal teas. That is, pleasant but not particularly unique. To me there wasn't a strong aroma either from the jar or while steeping the tea.I tried steeping the leaves a second time for another cup and it came out much weaker in color and flavor, so I think you're better off just steeping once.

Good choice for a herbal tea mix
The tea comes in a spice box, which is consistent with other items of this manufacturer. The spice box is sealed, so the leaves are supposed to be freshly preserved. Inside the box is a mix of nettle leaves and stems. I liked nettle tea when I was a kid, so I was eager to try this one. And it did not disappoint. The taste is intense, herbal, and grassy. After steeping it alone several times, I found out that it is better mixed with other herbal teas to enhance their taste. Recently, I switched to making herbal blends of nettle and blue cornflower, which played very nicely.I highly recommend this item - not only does it taste good (if you know what to expect), but is also priced very reasonably.

Helpful. But smells like spinach.
For starters, the size of the leaves really vary in here. Some are big and intact, some are just little floating bits. I would suggest making this tea in something with a strainer. (I thought it looked like all big leaves that I’d be able to drink around easily. I was wrong. It was a bit messy and I kept fishing bits out of my mouth. That’s on me for being lazy) So I’ve been hearing people raving about nettle tea for allergies and general healthiness for years, so I was really glad I had a chance to try this. And it’s true that drinking a cup of nettle tea did make me feel a bit better short term, which is surprising for something without caffeine. Probably the allergy thing. But the flavor…. None of the people raving about how healthy it was said that it tasted and smelled like spinach. Which would be great to cook with, but not really what I’m looking for win a cup of tea.I’ll still use it medicinally, and I’m glad to have tried it. But something that tastes like spinach, in my opinion, best used in cooking, and it’s kind of cost prohibitive to use enough of the bottle to make a nettle *dish*.
