The real deal. Simply delightful.
I've been searching for these for about 2 years now. Whenever I did find the colorful minimalist covers, they'd have that awful HBO series tie-in at the top. Not these. These are indeed the colorful OG hardcover editions without any Game of Thrones tie-ins. And better yet, they also line up perfectly with my Bantam hardcover editions of Fire and Blood, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: same height, same typography, same aesthetic. My GRRM collection has never looked so beautiful. They came all the way to Rio de Janeiro carefully packaged and in very neat condition. One of the dust jackets was slightly bent at the bottom, but nothing too serious, and it will most likely resolve with pressure from being stacked against the other books. I also noticed that A Dance with Dragons seems to differ slightly from the rest, having a noticeable glossy/shiny finish when viewed against the light, which the other books lack, though to me that is not something that ruins the overall consistency of this set. I highly recommend this purchase, especially to those who already own the original hardcover editions of F&B and AKotSK.
