I bought these so I could drive after I ruptured my quad tendon on my right leg. I had to get back to work and this did the job. Takes a little getting used to in the beginning ( led foot take off and breaking 🤣). Works like a charm now.

These were so easy to install and use. At first I was skeptical because it was designed for the left hand (it supposedly can be installed either way, but it seemed to me that it was a hazard to do so) but i got the hang of it pretty quick. DEFINITELY get a knob to add to your steering wheel for the sharp turns to keep good control of the car.

When I first installed this (which was super easy) and took the car out to try it I honestly thought I was going to kill my self, it felt strange, depending on this gadget to get around, after about an hour of use I got comfortable with it! The idea is to get used to the amount of pressure to apply for braking & accelerating as if you were using your foot! It took a bit of getting used to, I started on an empty service road giving me time to adjust the pressure applied & also giving me room to play with it! After getting used to the applied pressure it was super easy in regular traffic! you can use cruise control to free your hands, it really works great! , compared to some of those other expensive options, you’ll feel great knowing you made the right choice & saved a boatload of money! I love it and if need be you can remove it and install it on another vehicle!

I flipped them around. Push for gas, pull for brake. Takes a little adjustment and getting used to but does work nicely. Extra effort used to pull the brake hard like slamming on your brakes but definitely works.

my husband has a SCI so he uses this in my car, it takes about 7 mins to install and it takes some getting used to when it comes to driving it, but it gets the job done

I’m glad I got this. Although a special license is required, I feel it’s worth the time and energy to be legally allowed to be on the road with this as it’s improved my independence tenfold.

I used these on a Nissan Cube, and it was a bit of a challenge to figure out how best to attach them to the pedals, but after a few tries I found a setup that worked OK. Driving with them took a good bit of getting used to, and they always felt rather sketchy to me, but they did work. I would NOT want to use them long term, but in a situation where my regular adapted van was not available, they did the job of letting me drive a car that wasn't otherwise set up for disability use. OK for a rental or other short term use, but permanent hand controls are FAR better. Note that the pedals in the vehicle must be able to handle being pulled as well as pushed as these controls work by pulling up on one and pushing down on the other.

Fitted easy but no way to fit it that conforms to UK hand controls which have the handle on the right. Says they can be used on RHDrive and LHDrive cars. Not if you are used to driving with hand controls! When reversed and fitted so handle is on the right it becomes PULL to brake and PUSH to accelerate, the opposite of other hand controls. After 38 years driving Push brake that is an accident waiting to happen. I am returning these.
