Sound Investment: Unveiling the Quality of the Blue Yeti Mic Stand
I recently invested in the Upgraded Mic Boom Arm Desk Mount specifically for my Blue Yeti microphone, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. I record podcasts and host video calls here at IBM. When my Yeti was on the supplied desktop stand... it was always in my way.The installation process was a breeze, with the stand easily clamping onto my desk without needing any additional tools. The build quality is robust and sturdy, ensuring that my Blue Yeti is held securely in place. The adjustability of the boom arm is a major plus, allowing me to effortlessly position the microphone at the perfect angle and height for my recording needs. The arm's smooth movement and stability are impressive, eliminating any concerns about it drooping or shifting during use. Additionally, the stand's sleek design integrates seamlessly with my existing setup, adding a professional touch to my workspace. What sets this microphone stand apart is its compatibility with the Blue Yeti. The mount fits the microphone perfectly, and the included cable management velcro ties are a thoughtful addition, helping keep my workspace tidy and organized. The stand's range of motion is remarkable, providing the flexibility to move the microphone out of the way when not in use, yet easily bring it back into position when needed. This has been particularly useful for my podcast recordings and online meetings. In terms of durability and functionality, this stand has been a game changer, enhancing my overall audio recording experience. I highly recommend it to anyone with a Blue Yeti microphone looking for a reliable, high-quality microphone stand.

Microphone Stand for Blue Yeti - Works okay, but had trouble with connections
This review is for Microphone Stand for Blue Yeti Upgraded Mic Boom Arm Desk Mount for Hyperx Quadcast Blue Yeti Pro X Snowball with Top Grade Shock Mount, Pop Filter,Windscreen,Mic Holder for Broadcasting Game.I have a Blue Yeti that I got secondhand and wanted an arm mount since the tabletop stand was always in the way when wanting to type. In general, I was very impressed by the quality of the unit right out of the box. All the pieces seem high quality and sturdy, but still lightweight. There were multiple options for attaching the mic to the stand. The clamp that attaches to the table is padded well, so my desk won't get scratched up. Be careful, though, because the first time I installed I didn't tighten it enough so the mount wiggled and left a lot of little black pieces on the desk, almost like eraser bits. The arm moves easily and adjust to varying heights and positions.I had trouble with all of the connections for my Blue Yeti, though. All of them were just a little too small so they would wiggle lose and not stay in place. I tried to use teflon tape to make it bigger, but that didn't work either. I was only able to get it to stay by cross-threading. However, since I have a used mic this might be a flaw with my mic instead of the stand.Overall, I'm still happy with this arm and am glad to have it.

Just the thing
If you are a photographer trying to dabble in videography, I expect like me, it won't be long before you run up against trying to mount standard sound equipment on your tripods. It turns out that most of that stuff is some odd (not metric, not imperial) 5/8 threading. These easily convert to the photography 3/8 standard. These are threaded well, offering good fit and finish. Now I just need a similar set for 1/4. Competitively priced, a must have.

It works ok, it's not as robust as others though
This unit is packed with the right accessories to use for a small studio, podcast, etc., but the actual arm hardware is light duty. The mounting hardware (base) is solid. Well designed and sturdy. The actual arm tubes are made of about 1/2" metal and the lightweight joints cause it to be wobbly. Not super sturdy. That being said, once the microphone and holder hardware are all added and secure, the mic stand seems to be ok. If the table or desk is bumped you can see the arm shake a bit.Other than that, it's a very versatile stand and covers all of the different possible combinations and sizes of microphones. The accessory hardware is very solidly constructed, i.e. pop guard, mic holder, etc.If the arm hardware/frame were larger metal parts, i.e. sturdier, I'd give it a five star.

You can hold more than just a microphone with this adapter.
You can even use this on your iPad holder, so you will be able to put it on a mic stand or a desk stand. Thank you. God bless you. May the rest of your life be the best of your life. OZ

Works for me. Add some thread lock
This set of two interlocking thread adapters is exactly what I needed to adapt between different camera and lighting tripods and devices.Likes:- Black anodized metal. Seems like nice quality.- Lightweight.- Works with my equipment.Dislikes:- No real complaints.Tips: Add some blue thread lock compound to the threads to keep these from unscrewing in service.

aluminum adapters are not as durable as brass
These are lightweight aluminum adapters. They are cleanly threaded and work fine if you want to attach something to your microphone stand (or you want to attach a microphone to a camera stand) and leave it attached there. If you plan to frequently move these to different devices or stands, I recommend using brass adapters instead. Brass doesn't cost much more and is more durable and doesn't strip or bind as easily as aluminum.
