SMJ TWSASK - 1A Shaver Adaptor

The 1A TWSASK Shaver Adaptor by SMJ is a robust, well-built plug that does as exactly as required of it, accepts a 2 pin lead or adapter and converts it into a three pin unit.The plug was despatched very swiftly after my order was placed.A bonus to this particular plug is that should ever the need arise to change the 1A fuse installed in the unit, there is no requirement to unscrew the two halves of the plug. This unit comes with the fuse in an easy access plastic clip mounted on the 3 pin side of the plug. Simply hook the clip out and the fuse is exposed for changing.The plug is clearly marked indicating that the product has been designed to fully comply with the latest British standards and electrical equipment safety regulations.Since purchasing this plug, we have used it for a shaver, an epilator, a set of curling tongs and most of the time; it has an electric toothbrush constantly charging from it. The two pin prongs from the different electrical appliances have all been held firm and secure by the adaptor plug. We have had no problems at all; it easily fits a British 3 pin socket.Basic as the Shaver Adapter by SMJ is, I do recommend the plug.

Bought for an electric toothbrush - and the charging aspect works absolutely fine. The adaptor is solid and fits firmly into a wall socket. The prongs on the toothbrush charging lead slots into place (with a good push) - and fits nice and secure.

Arrived on time in a large box. (A plug) which when I opened the box the plug looked like it had been down the mine it was that dirty. Must have been the last one and left on a shelf. When I removed the sticker on it I could see the real colour (white)

Fantastic cheap item. Worked first time, really fast delivery. Superb packaging. Good customer service. Reliable item to have during holiday abroad or in the home. Ideal to power electric shaver and toothbrush. Highly recommend to students, families, travellers.

Very useful, especially for oral b toothbrushes, this adapter means you can charge them from the mains.

I bought this shave adaptor as I bought myself a new Orel-B toothbrush but lacked a shaver socket in the bathroom.The quality is pretty standard, so not cheap feeling at all.It is a pure white colour, so not tarnished or 'creamy'It definitely works well, and I have been using it for months now with the power always on, so no fear of this suddenly blowing up!

The adapter does not work with UK standard 2 pin plugs for shavers and toothbrushes as advertised, so does not meet the sale of goods act. The standard 2 pin plugs (which have metal tips) for a shaver and toothbrush I have recently bought, will not stay in the adapter. You push it in and the plug pops out again by 4 mm disconnecting the electricity supply. I have previously bought an adapter via Amazon from a different supplier (CKONG) which works perfectly with the same standard 2 pin plugs. The non-working adapter works with European 2 pin plugs which have thinner plug pins.

I bought this to charge an electric toothbrush. It seems to work ok but I would have preferred an indicator light to show that it's charging.
