Great Bible in a Hard to Find Translation
I appreciate Thomas Nelson publishing a translation thats not super well known anymore. This edition is beautiful and highly readable. The font is the same as the standard NRSV's that Thomas Nelson publishes. The drop caps are absolutely beautiful however, in my copy, some pages are lighter than others in terms of the ink. Some pages are super dark others are rather faint. The leather quality is very nice and should last a good long while. As expected, it is a paste down liner, but it is synthetic. Overall an excellent Bible!

Great Translation
This is probably one of my favorite translations, if not my favorite one. The Bible itself is awesome. The leather feels surprisingly nicer than I thought and has a nice floppy feel to it. It's a decent size, readable (in terms of font/font size), and has 2 ribbons which is a must.Only downside, like some have said, is that the font does seem to have a slight gray rather than dark black. To me, that's not worth taking off a star. I can read it just fine, though I see why some might not be able to. Watch a review from Tim Wildsmith on youtube if you want a better look at it.I haven't read through the whole thing yet just FYI. If I find any errors later on, I will update the review.

Lousy Printing
The RSV is my favorite translation, and hard to get. So us lovers of it have been excited for this new edition. Everything about it is perfect, except one horrible oversight: the printing quality is highly inconsistent. It’s been a problem with other Sovereign Collection Bibles, and one you’d think Thomas Nelson would’ve fixed by now. On some pages, the text is so faded as to be almost unreadable. In my copy, unfortunately many of those lousy pages are during the Gospels. About 60% of this Bible is printed perfectly sharp and bold: why sacrifice so much to terrible quality? Thomas Nelson, please fix this! We need a solid RSV out there.

Nice!
This version is a bit questionable. I should have investigated before purchasing. No stars deducted for my oversight. I pre-ordered this genuine leather bible. It's nice to the touch, lays flat, and has minimal shadowing. I like the cross reference footnotes and the fact that it has maps. The words of Christ are not in red, but there is red lettering to start each paragraph. If you prefer this version, this is a really nice bible. It is not pocket size. Check the measurements before buying.

Print is of a high quality
The bold type is very readable. The text itself is in all black(my favorite). No passages in red ink. The Bible will stay open near the center. Quality product from the printer in India.
