I add this to my dogs food every day. It's nice to know that I'm doing everything I can to keep my furkids healthy and happy

Good quality but small amount

I saw this super greens supplement, and I jumped at the opportunity to request it.Unfortunately, my dog was not at all excited about my adding this to his food. He did not like the smell at all. The recommended dosage for his weight was 3 scoops (small dosing scoop provided). I just started with 1/2 of a scoop, and he turned up his nose at his food. So I reduced the amount to 1/4 scoop, and he reluctantly ate his food. It took about one week before he did not hesitate to each his food when he smelled this supplement. After about 10 days, I was able to increase to 1/2 of a scoop, then after two weeks, I was able to increase to a full scoop twice a day. Once he realized that it tasted okay, he seemed to ignore the smell. I did not notice any offensive smell, but for whatever reason it bothered my dog. To me, it smelled like vegetables. My dog now readily eats his food with this added supplement.The supplement is a very, very fine green powder. This was not a problem for the way I feed, because I add water to my dog food. The powder just mixed right in with the water.I know individual results can vary, but the supplement worked as advertised for my dog.

The container is small but the scoop for the daily portion is also very small so it is lasting a long time. He loves is on his food.

The life span of goldens has been reduced over that last 30-50 years and some researchers think it's because of mass produced dog food. My last golden only lived 8 years, so for this one I'm trying everything I can to help him live longer. While I don't make my own dog food or feed raw, I do feed him a dog food geared to goldens that my vet recommended. And I also add natural, high quality supplements like this Super Greens supplement.My dog doesn't mind the taste (he LOVES broccoli), which is a big factor because he's a picky eater (strange for a golden, I know). My only issue is the cost. It's expensive and for a 65 lb dog, I go through a container very quickly. I wish that (1) it was less expensive and (2) that it came in a bigger container.

My 12 year old German shepherd is being extra and refuses to eat anything except chicken and rice, I got this for her so she gets the nutrients that she's missing in her diet.

My dog absolutely loves it and I think she is feeling better.

My dogs refuse to eat that stinky stuff. They walked away from their food that night better to go hungry then eat that stuff. Waste of money.
