I found this a very interesting insight into the life of Rembrandt and would recommend

Being advised that the book was written in Dutch and not English would have been extremely helpful not to mention making the reading of it a whole lot easier..!!

Good book on Rembrandt - Sufficient for those interested who do not have to study him in depth

Much too detailed for the average art lover

It was purchased as a birthday present for someone who had lost their copy in moving house. They were thrilled to pieces to receive the same book. So a positive outcome, thank you.
