Plug n Play, Very Bright
I purchased the D1S LED for my 2009 335i. It was as easy as unplugging the old HID and plugging in the D1S LED. I was amazed at how easy it was and that it worked without issue. My experience with conversions is that there are usually issues, but not with this one. Super bright, love the 6000K color.

Plug and play...but might burn out on you
I purchased these HS1 LED replacements for 06 VW Passat 3.6L HID Xenon system. They are indeed a direct fit replacement for the Xenon HID bulbs. The brightness of these LED's is incredible! They get extremely hot in the base. The base does have a fan to help with cooling. However, these Passat bulbs sit totally enclosed in a sealed headlight housing and there is just not enough available fresh air to effectively cool these down. The one bulb burned out on me in about 2 weeks. The Company's customer support is outstanding. I notified them of the issue and they quickly agreed to send me their standard HID Xenon bulbs as replacement. I decided to just go back to the Xenons because they do at least last several years before burning out. In order to replace the bulbs, you have to take off the entire front bumper cowling on the Passat to get the Headlight assembly out of the car... pain in the butt! I'm disappointed only because the switch to the LED's was quite amazing for the short period of time they both worked.

Burnt
One headlight already burnt after one month. When I removed it, the plastic was melted and the fan broken.Update: Changed my review to 4 stars because I received a new replacement pack. Thanks
