I purchased this as a light for my record turntable, and it is perfect for that application.Seriously, this should actually be target-marketed specifically as a "Turntable Light".See my attached two photos as proof.The compact triangular prism form is ideal for turntable placement, and provides a hands-free use.The adjustable angle swivel head allows you to line the beam up with the stylus and record grooves.The wide spread of the long rectangular "COB" style light eliminates the pinpoint "hot-spot" of other LED lights (like nearly all LED flashlights), resulting in a light that is very bright, but also diffusely spread out enough to avoid unwanted reflections on the vinyl record.The power button on the side lets you easily turn the light on when queuing up a record, and turn it off when done, without ever moving the light from where it sits in its ideal position.Three AAA batteries last 3 hours on high or 11 hours on medium intensity (which is bright enough), and because you only need it for a few seconds each time you que up a record, one set of batteries will last a very long time.It would be difficult to design a better light for vinyl record turntable usage.Everyone who owns a record turntable should pick up one of these.And since they come two to a pack... you have an extra one to use around the house.

1-11-2020. This will be used for camping and off roading.....I received the lights in one day! Packaging was in good shape no damage. After opening the package, turned on lights and cycled through the High / Low / Off functions. Everything worked as indicated and the light was plenty bright enough. The magnets held great to a variety of metals with different coating to include a spray on bed liner. So far I am happy with the purchase. I will update after further use soon.

I've been using these for about 10 years. The design allows for attaching via the magnetic base and then pointing the swivel light where it's needed. Power outages - put on fridge and elsewhere, pointing towards the ceiling (good muted light), household repairs - either attach magnetically or sit on table, work bench, floor, ...Excellent!

I'm an old man so using a drill press or bandsaw in my woodshop was getting harder even in good lighting, d--n shadows. These are great, I can see what I'm doing again. Little things that work mean a lot and these do work. They are brightenough and small enough so I can bring them close. Battery life is great. I accidently left one on low setting about 5PM and it was still on next day at 2PM and I could still use it on high for an hour and it still is as bright as the second one in the pack!

Love these lights I have many different lux pro lights first set the these I got from Lowes about 6 years ago lost one in a river recently so I got a new set. Good lighting, magnets hold good , as long as you use good batteries 🔋 they last long I'm picky with my lighting devices and lux pro is one of my favorites

I was hesitant at first with the magnetic ability of these lights since the magnets are small. But they hold up very well inside the machines at work that have grease/dirt/oil residue on them. The lights are nice and bright and the pivoting heads are very convenient. This product was $4 cheaper on amazon than in my local store.

So far I am satisfied with the product.. Not sure of battery life quite yet. One of the two lamps used up a set of batteries quickly, but they were the cheap Chinese batteries that come with so many products today. Replaced batteries in both but have not used them enough to get a feel for battery consumption.A fair amount of light is produced to be used for many conditions and purposes.So far, worth the money spent.

I purchased a couple different magnetic LED lights to use for rewiring fluorescent light fixtures. The metal surface to attach a light is on an angle and most lights shine straight down instead of on the work area. This light has a swiveling head which is just perfect. The light can be directed to the exact spot! Also, the size is compact so it stays out of the way. There are two light settings including bright and not-so-bright. I wish I would have found this product first!
