Handy Little Light
I am not a good sleeper so do lots of reading in the middle of the night with my husband sleeping beside me. I like the fact that is flexible as you do need to move it around it a bit to make sure the pages are readable and figured out where best to clip it on so you don't need to keep moving it, it works well and I am very happy with it.

Useful little gadget for travel.
I'm planning to use this in my caravan when I want to read at night but not use the precious battery power, I often camp in random fields at dog shows which don't have hook up so little gadgets like this which mean I can leave the lights off are great. I do have a solar panel but it isn't sufficient in itself to keep the battery fully topped up, especially if the weather is iffy which, lets face it, in the UK can be the case.It clips easily onto the page and emits a good light for reading so I'm really happy, I often take a reasonably high capacity power pack for my phone so if it needs recharging whilst I'm away that will be easy too.

OK but has some design issues
The first thing is I dont think its worth the current retail price point? as it's a small plastic gadget with a single LED on flexi tube. While it gives off a bright intensity from the small LED head it has a narrow field spread which means it doesn't illuminate an adequate enough area to read a a book page comfortably. You do have three different white light temperatures controlled by sequencing through the power button, although it is hard to tell any difference between the 1st and the 3rd cool white settings?Another issue is while plugged in to charge. It's small indicator light is right on the charge socket so its difficult to see the charge status, which is red for charging and green for when its fully charged. However when all is said and done its a handy little gadget to keep around the house and will have its uses which will probably be other than as a reading lamp.

A bit of a fiddle
I had issues getting this to stay on any book, so I decided it'd serve better just being slid on to my pyjamas and aimed at the book itself which works significantly better. It's a shame it doesn't clip nicely, but it does do the job and for a little gadget it definitely helps get some nighttime reading in without waking my partner by turning on the big light or even the lamps.

Compact, economical & works well
Priced well (£8.80 with 10% off coupon @ time of review). Charges easily, cord provided, though it is short. Compact size makes it great for travel or even to throw in your purse or backpack for on the go. My wife works earlier than me, so we go to bed at different times. This will allow me to read in bed, with less light to disrupt her sleep. It has 3 levels of light which works well, controlled by small button at top of light. I think it might be a smidge better, if it were a little longer, though it is bendable to a certain degree to direct light. Added bonus of also being able to rest on a desk and use as a desk light. Clip holds well. I like that it is rechargeable rather than battery operated. Nice little light.

Poor design, fiddly, frustrating - could be better
First glance it seemed perfect, small, neat, nice bright light or reduced brightness, tiny USB recharging lead and arrived ready to go. Its easily portable.Actually trying to use this is quite another matter.- It is almost impossible to affix to a book be it at the top or the side it won’t stay put.- if you manage to clip it to the page you are reading, you have to fiddle with it all over again when you turn the page- when you do manage, briefly, to get it to stay in place you only get to read part of the page. This could have been so much better if it had a decent clasp that clipped to the book rather than a ‘slide on’. A longer neck might allow for illumination of a larger area of text.Cannot recommend this unless you are desperate, it will drive you bonkers.

A bright little light
This reading lamp provides quite a bright light. I found it a bit difficult to use with a book, as the flexible neck is not very long, and its light doesn't reach far enough. What I did was put it in my front pocket and have the neck of the light pointing at the book. This solved the problem very well for me and lit the book pages well. The different warm colours make for a comfortable use while reading, depending on your preference. Recharging was easy via USB, and it seemed to last plenty of time before it needed recharging again.I found this item quite versatile, very much like a mini torch. As the light is so bright, I was also able to use it while walking around outside, getting something from the car, and getting the key in the front door without the need to hold a torch. And as it's so portable, I can just keep it handy in my pocket for when I need a quick light.

Works well
Does it's job as a cheap little book light. Clips nice with adjustable head. I personally wish the light was a little less focused though to cover a whole book if that makes sense, but completely usable.

A couple flaws with this light
I like to read before I go to bed, so ordered this mini rechargeable reading light to reduce strain on my eyes. There are some things I like about this light and other things that I don't.The first design flaw is the charging indicator light shown in the item description doesn't exist. When you charge this light, you have no idea if it is charging, when it is done, or anything in between. The second issue is the amount of light it gives off. It is basically enough to light up one page. The adjacent page is still a little dim. You'll either need to readjust the light direction or move the clip after each page, which is a bit of a pain.I do like the flexible tube so you can adjust the light. I also like that there are 3 different light settings. The features work well. I read for about an hour at time and I didn't run out of battery power. The quality of this light is about what I expected given the price. The item description is not accurate, so for that reason I rated it 3 stars.
