Pros and Cons, Overall Really Nice
Pros:• Safe while cutting• Semi-Easy assemble and storage (The instructions were drawn with the lip facing the wrong side for assembly)• Decent sized options for basic cooking(Making slices for sweet potato lasagna, hash browns, carrots for slaw or cooking)Cons:• Not as safe to clean, just pay close attention• Can be awkward to clean, it doesn't come apart to reach blade or inside slats, muat be very careful• The safety tube isn't very wide. I've had to cut down the veg or just not use the tube for certain (not particularly big) potatoes. Not that big of deal, just worth mentioning.• Could have a few more cut sizes. Not ideal for French fries, but everyone likes different shapes and textures. It's more for hash browns or slaw.___________________Still great for a basic cooking or meal prep!I'll update if it becomes dull quickly or rusts(Feb 2024)

Slicer Delivers Precision and Versatility in Potato Slicing
I recently added the Slicer to my kitchen arsenal, and I must say it has become an indispensable tool for effortlessly creating uniform potato slices. This sleek and sturdy slicer has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and ease of use.One of the standout features of the Slicer is its adjustable slicing thickness. Whether I'm preparing crispy potato chips, scalloped potatoes, or thinly sliced potatoes for a gratin, this slicer allows me to achieve the perfect thickness with precision. The adjustable knob is easy to maneuver, providing a range of slicing options that cater to various culinary needs. The slicer comes apart easily, and the blades can be removed for thorough cleaning.Durability is another strong point of this slicer. The stainless steel blades are sharp and show no signs of dulling, even after repeated use. The overall construction feels robust, assuring me that this kitchen tool is built to last.

Small
This thing is terrible!! It is way to small and doesn't slice well at all.

Convenient for slicing & dicing, but…
I do like the way it’s designed, the compactness and the sturdiness's of it. I really wanted to be able to cut homemade French fries with it. The way it cuts a potato can’t be called French fries. The potato is cut into pieces way too short to be considered fries. Great for hash browns however.

I don't love it
I originally bought this because I wanted a mandolin to help speed up meal prep time when I'm making salads or cutting up vegetables for dinner. This design is safer than conventional mandolins, but this thing has way too many flaws to be useful in the kitchen. The first thing to be aware of when using this mandolin is that the opening is only about 2.5 inches wide, meaning you are very limited in what you can slice unless you pre-cut larger vegetables. It's only really useful for slicing cucumbers, carrots, and zuchini. Forget about potatoes, onions, or anything wider than 2.5 inches across. It's also way easier to just learn how to dice an onion with a knife than to dice them in this thing.Secondly, cleaning this thing is not easy. There isn't really a way to take it apart, so if anything gets stuck to the blade, you won't be able to scrub it off. You just have to rinse it with hot water and hope it comes off. Speaking of the blade, mine got dull pretty quickly, especially after slicing up carrots, and there's not really a way to take the blade out to sharpen it or replace it. It was so dull that it struggled to slice through fiberous celery.Using it can also be kind of be a pain. I've had it happen multiple times where a piece of cucumber would fly out the back and onto the floor due to the spring action mechanism. The other thing I didn't like (which is kind of a nitpick) is the uneven cutting due to the awkward angle of the vegetable insertion point, resulting in irregularly shaped slices as you progress.Overall, I mainly just use this now to slice cucumbers and I'm not really happy with this product. I would recommend a different mandolin that is more versitile.
