Perfect fit for my 2007 Honda Pilot and easy install!

Perfect fit!! You'll need to slightly grease the inside of the hose but it will fit and at exact angle and length as OEM. Remember to keep spring fastener as this one does not have one included nor any of the clamps.

It kind of sneaks up on you ... and don't realize how hard and brittle the OEM had gotten, and then cracked on the underside near the throttle body never knew it had happen until it came to taking it off. Figure this will be near as good as the original it will take care of things as good a a 2006 Honda factory part could.

I will have to take a star off just for the delivery issue not necessarily because of the item itself. Instead of arriving in two days, it did in five. No, I don't live in Alaska or Hawaii but near a very large metro area in Florida.The item itself comes without any hardware so be careful when you remove everything from the old one. The installation is very straight forward. Take the top of the air box off and check for any wires/tubes attached to the old one. Make sure all tubes/wires are removed. After the top of the air box and old air intake tube has been removed, take out all the attachments and mounting hardware. It will be needed for re-install. Not a bad idea at this point to clean the throttle body with special spray cleaner. I strongly recommend doing it since the intake tube was broken, the car was sucking in un-metered, dirty air. My throttle body was filthy ( 210,000 miles, never cleaned). I just can't believe the MAP sensor wasn't throwing check engine codes. Good idea to clean it too, but with a different MAP/MAF cleaner, not the same as for throttle body.

The intake tube on our 2006 Pilot developed a nice spit at the "accordion" section... this is apparently an all too common failure. Money was tight, so I decided that for the $25 this costs, I would roll the dice. It fit perfectly. It does not come with any of the springs or clamps, but the originals transferred over without a hitch. It has been on the car for a few months (and a few thousand miles) now and is holding up fine.

Every reason for glowing review. The item fits perfectly; with reasonable flexibility it was easy to install; seems to be a quality part. It was much cheaper than OEM.

Was exactly like the old one and was easy to install. No complaints.

Plan ahead for the removal and replacement of the intake hose. Of critical concern is the overall length of the hose and the rubber mats must be heavy duty like this one or it will split. Change the air filter. But very careful next time you need the air filter and do it yourself. Do not let anyone else do it or they will most likely break the intake hose!!!
