GE Morgan 54" Brushed Nickle LED Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan with SkyPlug Technology for Instant Plug and Play Mounting

I purchased this fan like a month ago, I wanted to wait until it's being used for at least a month before submitting an honest review.The installation was super easy, all you have to do it attach the ceiling base mount, connect 3 electric wires and then you snap the fan motor to the base, THAT'S IT! No drilling and/or electrician is required. It took me like an hour from start to finish!The fan comes with a remote control which controls the bright and powerful LED light (Dimmable) and the 3 fan speeds. The fan is quiet at least on the first 2 speeds, on the 3rd one you will hear the fan's blades slicing the air, but that's normal. I don't hear any sounds of moving parts.I strongly recommend this fan. Good price and high quality.

This fan uses sky plug technology, which is an absolute nightmare. The fan was totally assembled and would not work because the sky plug pin did not full insert into the housing. I spent 3 days working on this and am really disappointed in the waste of time.

Best fans ever! To install with a shallow electrical box, use the thin washers that come with it and direct your wires to the sides where they get attached to the bracket making sure you don't pinch the wire as you tighten it up. Then, you cut and strip the wires so they fit into the proper holes and tighten down the screws making sure and pushing the wire up into the electrical box so it doesn't hang down. Wish I took a pic for you.. But, that's it. The rest is pushing the fan up into place. Oh, make sure on the ground that it moves easily into the canopy (in the instructions). Once attached to the ceiling and rotated into place, tighten screws on the canopy to secure it. Follow directions and you'll be fine. We have two fans and if you sync one at a time with the same remote, you can use that one remote for both. So, I did it twice and both remotes work both fans in sync. We keep one remote mounted on the wall just inside the back door and the other on our lanai table. We love them! Quiet and dimmable led lights. Lots of air movement too!

Had electricians come to install on our alumnpatio. I used the 1/2 in fan box and the used that to install the fan onto. I think the smart plug technology allows you to exchange this easily with another smart plug appliance. So far these fans have worked well with the high 90s weather we’ve had. Will update as we continue to own the fans.My patio is 35ft by 17ft and we installed 2 fans. I’m glad we did two instead of one.

Bought two of these G.E. Morgan 54" fans. Using for a covered patio. Installed without a wall switch. Using with the remote controls they come with. Can operate each fan individually with each remote, AND I found out I can operate both fans with one remote, together, or turn one light off, and the other on simultaneously with one remote. Also can dim one light, or the other, or both at the same time. Awesome! The brushed nickle has a clearcoat on it making it easy to wipe down. The black blades give them an elegant appeal.

Got 2, first one easy, second one was a return item. Struggled to get it to be flush to ceiling, after 2 hours called an electrician, 2 1/2 hrs later he finds the tiny pins are bent, and the cross plate section is messed up. It is working now, shakes on medium speed, but too much trouble to take down and return. Return items should be checked better by the sellers. The box was kind of messed up, but I really didn’t think it could effect the fan. Previous buyers, got frustrated and may have even screwed it up. Again not my fault. I paid full price and paid an electrician too.

This fan was so much easier to install than any fan I have installed so far. It looks great and works great. I use it on the patio in Florida and rain doesn't seem to damage it. Its also very well balanced unlike other fans I have.
