great story line and so well written
Love the story line and could not stop reading. Everything is so well explained and makes sense, often fantasy is disjointed but this one is really good

A Story Capable of Kindling the Flame in Us All
*Stellar* story, worth far more than asking price. 5☆! I picked this one up on a whim, based solely on the title & genre. I love Xianxia/Wuxia & after being presented with the premise of a barbarian berserker fighting mystic martial masters, I came to the sudden realization that I've been desperately craving it all my life... & the book delivered. Hot DAMN did it deliver! Not only is it EXTREMELY well written, the pacing is phenomenal, the story is satisfying, & the length feels CRAZY to me, in comparison to everything else I've read of late. When I read something, I binge read it. When I like a story, I usually blast through a book every 1 or 2 days. This one took me 5+ (in a good way). I can't tell you how many times I looked down at the percentage at the bottom of my kindle app only to be FLOORED by how much was left. Pick this series up, you won't regret it!

Sick or bored of the cultivation genere read this book anyway
To be honest I was starting to get extremely bored with cultivation novels hell I was starting to get sick of the entire Fantasy genre. That changed when I decided to give this book a chance. It seems I finally found a book with a Willing Hero instead of a the all to common and whiny unwilling Hero. That alone would have earned it 5 stars from me, as I finally get to read about a hero who sets their goals and kicks the @$$ of who ever or whatever is in their way. The other refreshing thing about this book is the lack of the Holy Triangle of fantasy MCs; Deep moral truth searching; Feeling guilty or taking responsibility for things outside of their control; and last but not least self flagulation over the aforementioned things out their control. Pretty much every Fantasy book I've ever read has a MC that fits perfectly in that Triangle with these three points permiating the book, often times for far too many pages of MC whining. This books MC was a huge exemption. While he had moments of weakness and failure he never stopped kicking @$$. This book has easily shot in to my top 5 favorite books. Worth the read and I'm instantly reading the next book. Great work by the Author. Seriously can't recommend this book enough

A Fantastic Story
This is a Roller Coaster of a story! From the start you are carried away with the way that the Author created the world he has you in. The idea of a Bisserker really sets this story. And using an Oriental flavor just makes the story shine.

Heck of a start!
Great start to a new progression fantasy series. Lots of books coming out in this genre so to mix in different cultivation aspects and have good world and character building is rare.Looking forward to book 2!

Novel cultivation path
Loved this book and its main character. The author did an amazing job of explaining the world and the cultivation path of the MC. You can’t help but root for the guy as he strives to achieve his Herculean goals. Diving straight into book 2!!!

May the odds always be against you!
I’m not a huge progression fantasy fan but if you love heroes with equal heart and pure badassery along with an amazing start to an epic saga, then this is absolutely for you! Once the story gets going it’s impossible to put down. I can’t think of anything more badass than a berserker taking on an intergalactic cultivator empire! Book 2 here I come.

a good start for a cultivation series
The worldbuilding is well done with a relatable and likeable MC.The author did a good job of westernising the Wuxia code and the book is pleasant to read.Give it a try if you are fan of the genre, you wont be disappointed.
