Works like it should.Bought our first big pool a few weeks ago. Did the things we needed to do, celebrated with a slow-motion high five and a montage of our best bit, and watched in horror as 7000L of crystal clear awesomeness turned to green sludge...Turns out we weren't quite as awesome as we thought. So we emptied the pool, scrubbed every last trace of green out of it. Washed the pump and changed the filter, we then refilled but this time added this stuff and the correct amount of chlorine, and that's all we needed. The pool is now crystal clear, the kids are still alive and our electric bill is likely to be through the roof. So that's nice.

I have used other anti algae products over the years and unfortunately this product just does nothing. the water in the pool had a very faint green algae tinge. I added the recommended amount of the chemical to the pool the filters were clean and the filter pump left running. I checked the water the following day and it was still the same so I added another dose of the chemical changed the filter and left pump running overnight. The next day still the same so I poured half of the bottle in to the pool changed the filter and left pump running and yes you've guessed it no change. The pH and chlorine levels were perfect as I religiously check these every day. Iv'e had this issue some times before over the last 5 years and other brand products ive used normally clears the algae tinge within a couple of hours. I am now going to have to drain down the pool clean and refill. I should have spent the extra couple of pounds on a brand I know from experience works.
