I wear the Libre 3 sensors, so they are very, very flat and don't need the extra space or much "bump" protection - the little plastic thing they include with these to cover larger sensors is wasted on me. Went in the bin already. So I really can't say how these covers handle those, with or without the plastic thing. They do a fine job with the Libre 3, I've worn them over it while spending a weekend outdoors, sweat and all, and in the shower. As long as you don't scrub hard on them, they will stay stuck when wet. If you pick at them or scrub on them, they will come off. This is common sense. The sensors themselves will come off too if you scrub on them. This giant purpose-cut bandaid acts like most bandaids - once it gets wet, it will wrinkle a little and needs to dry again before you put it to any test of adhesion. But they are great to have on hand in case your sensor comes a bit loose before its life ends, which is inconvenient and a hassle (you have to call in to get a replacement and wait for it to arrive).
