Bestway Flowclear 1,000 Gallons Per Hour 120 Volt Above Ground Swimming Pool Water Filter Pump Cartridge with Automatic Shut Off Timer

This filter is nice inexpensive upgrade to the cartridge filter than normally comes with the Bestway Steel Pro Max pool that I have.It works beautifully, i have crystal clear perfect water. I love that it’s see through since not only do I change my cartridge every two weeks, I pull it out every few days as well and rinse it. I can see when it’s starting to get “dirty” and I rinse it right away.

This little pump clean my pool way better than the big salt filter pump I purchased extra to go with my pool.

This filter is a beast. I made the mistake of not winterizing my pool last year and Thanksgiving it was quite cold. The water froze and my original filter, cracked, hoses burst etc. So I let the water reach below thelevel of the intake filters.I ordered this filter. The water in the pool was green due to algae, etc. 1 shock treatment, 2 chlorine floating holders filled to the top, and I connected the filter to a spare pallet, installed the hoses raised the water level to the intake filters, turned on the pump, I had to clean the filter 2x, just rinse with a hose. Water was clear after 3 days. I wish I had taken a before and after picture. Very pleased.

So glad we bought this to replace the tiny pump that came with our pool. It was easy to hook up and as soon as we turned it on, you could see the difference in water flow. This helped keep our pool, clean all summer!

This pump works great it's just what I needed for my size pool which is a 14x48 the original pump was a nice little pump it just didn't move enough water with this new pump I put in I don't believe I'll have to run it as long so I'll save my electricity and it did show a big difference in cleaning the water I strongly recommend this pump for anyone that has a pool my size or similar

There's a known issue with this pump where rain gets into the plug and it stops working. It's happened twice in one month's time for us. You can either try to let it dry or replace the pump. It's a very expensive issue when you're replacing pool pumps every time it storms. Not to mention the funk that grows in the pool while you wait for the slow af shipping. 5 days??

This filter does a great job. I wish Bestway sold this filter with the pool because it is much more efficient. My only complaint is changing out the filter is challenging. We lose water from the pool at each filter change but are getting quicker with the new filter change
