I have bought this item 3 times already for my daughters for basketball. Knee pads don't last forever especially in physical sports like basketball, although this can last for about a year at the middle to the high school level.

These things are great. I bought 4 pair to wear daily at work under my pants. I kneel down on occasion to pull samples from the equipment and also kneel down on smooth concrete throughout my shift to pick up items from the floor. I’m not sure how they would hold up if worn where they would directly come into contact with the concrete. Worn under my pants they seem like they will last for a year plus. They are cheap enough to replace as needed without concern. I wash them after each use and all 4 pair seem to be holding up well after about 4 washes each. Nothing fancy, just toss them in with my colors wash/dry load.I had been previously used a set of Velcro on soft knee pads from Lowe’s. Those held up but would sometimes cause rashes or abrasions behind my knees. Those problems do not exist with these amazon purchasesd sleeve style pads. Would definitely buy again as ‘kneeded’!

This review is for the elbow pad sleeve.We needed a pair quickly so we purchased these because they were the only ones available. I actually thought they would be cheap but they weren’t. They’re pretty good quality and my daughter has gotten good use out of them. For those wondering two come in a package.(One for each arm).I would recommend.

I purchased for my 10 year old for basketball. He played 2 games today and said these were fabulous! Usually he comes home with strawberries or bloody knees, today not a scuff or scratch on him! When these wear out I’ll definitely be purchasing again!

My daughter loves these knee pads and she wear all the time for all the games. She is very active and likes to slide on the hard floor while playing basketball. So far they are pretty neat and see no damage whatsoever.

I did not pay realize that the cushion has the shape of hearts, my son would not wear them.
