Worked for a short time
Worked well for a month or two, with limited use, but has now stopped charging completely. Tried different USB-C cables, but not charging wth any of them. It doesn't hold a charge itself, and doesn't charge the joycons when you leave the cable connected. Unfortunately it's just a standard grip now.

Does the job but hard to tell what the LED means
This item certainly charges the Joy Cons and comes with its own Type C Cable. however i struggle to understand what the LED's mean they don't seem to light up like you would expect to show the charge (1 is low 4 is high power). Good value for money though and do work.

Charging stops working
As others have mentioned, the charging feature stopped working after a few weeks. It still charges controllers if it's plugged in, but it no longer holds a charge itself. This was despite very little use. Otherwise it's a good product.*UPDATE*:ZZD Tech contacted me within a couple of days and offered me a refund since it was still under 12 months of warranty. Didn't expect that level of customer service from this price range. I took a 50% refund since it still works as a grip and can charge when plugged in (I use a power pack).

Nice add on to your controllers
Great product as you can charge your controllers while playing it is also good that you can charge the grip too as this is really good would say that the battery doesn’t last long on the grip I can only charge my controllers once before needing charge it’s self but guess that’s due to the small battery power insideWould recovto any Nintendo switch fan thanks also to the seller

Essential for long journeys or adventures
Having a charging grip, gives you so much extra time outside and on the go. Great investment thank you very much.

Bit pricey but a gift for my boyfriend who’s always on his switch, he was very happy with it and said it was good quality.

Don't buy it for the charging features
I now have a perfectly adequate non-charging grip after this one stopped giving or receiving charge a couple of months post purchase. I have seen this in other reviews of this product. Do yourself a favour and avoid.
