Works as described and pretty straightforward install process. Only downside is that you have to remove it before running your car thru the car wash as the plate can get snapped/pulled off by the brushes. Not a big deal when the alternative is to drill holes in the bumper. I would highly recommend to other Rivian owners!

I put this on my new R1S instead of drilling holes in the front bumper. I was impressed with the design and how it "fit like a glove". Easy to follow instructions -- installed in about 5 minutes. Only minor modification I made was to add washers to the 4 screws used to mount the license plate. The holes of the license plate were not much smaller than the head security screws provided with the SnapPlate so adding washers did the trick. Even so, very simple installation. SnapPlate comes complete with the only tool you'll need.Be aware that before taking your R1T or R1S through an automated car wash, you will need to take the bracket off the vehicle. This is no secret as this warning is clearly stated on all the documentation, stickers, and instructions. To me, that's a fair tradeoff for not permanently damaging the bumper by drilling holes in it. Just as easy to remove as to install. Great product!

I purchased the device before taking a road trip. To my surprise when I returned home the entire bracket was missing. Only thing I could think of is hitting a bump and it came off. I would suggest securing with the screw.

The idea behind this item is good, however, the bracket and plate fell off after a drive on a freeway.I installed with the “security” screw.

I bought this so that I would not have to drill holes in my bumper for the license plate. It does just that. I was very surprised at how easy it was to install. You basically just push a button the slides things out of the way so that you can just pop this in place. It literally only took a few seconds to install. Additionally, it fits so well that yo really don’t even see anything behind the license plate.The snap plate a shipped in very nice packaging. There is a QR code provided that links to a video to explain how to install, but it is so easy you probably won’t need the video. They also shipped with a screwdriver and screws to attach your license plate - some very nice touches.I have had mine on my car for a couple months, and I have had absolutely no issues with it.
