Purchased these snow chains for emergency situations. Haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. The material is thick plastic, as described, appearing strong and elastic enough. Installation is fairly easy but requires the included wrench from the package.

It works good, I wish they were rubber instead of Plastic. I go thru sand and sea weed on the ramp and it does work but looks like it is shrinking every week I use it. Its worth the money....

I haven't gotten a chance to properly use these in snowy/icy conditions yet, but from the dry run of putting them on at home, I found that they were harder to take off than to put on. The ratchetting to get them on was easy, but taking them off was relatively hard, as you'd have to go partway to the next click on an already very tight ratchet before being able to release it. The release mechanism also seems a little flimsy, just a piece of metal being held down by a single stud.

It’s supposed to have 10 straps. It only had 8.

I haven't had the chance to use these on ice yet, but I'm optimistic that they will be a big help. The nylon straps, buckles, and plastic parts all seem very thick and sturdy. They appear as if they can hold up well in tough traction situations. While I hope I won't need to use them, I can see how they could be very helpful if I ever get stuck in the snow this upcoming winter.They were as easy to install as the instructions show, and they are compact and easy to store in the trunk of my car. Overall, these traction straps seem to be a great addition to my winter car preparations.

Good quality tire chain straps. Heavy-duty, durable, and sturdy. Easy to apply and remove. They work great; good value for the price.

Better chance for grabbing traction with two tires vs one.Chains, gloves, ratchet tool and hook all fit into a provided nylon bag. Received white cotton gloves instead of the black gloves in the item photo. They're passable for dry use but will easily get soaked in the wet. Ratcheting mechanism is cheap compared to the type normally used with tiedown ratcheting straps. Hook to grab strap through wheel is cheap feeling hollow plastic.

These h look like they have good traction for snow or rough terrain. By the way they look it’ll be easily to put on the tires. I haven’t used them yet, but they look better than most I’ve seen. I will come back later to update after using them.
