Is this stick strong enough to break the balls ? I've had issues with cracking other sticks due to my strength of breaking .

I never break with my playing cues, so I can't say for sure, but part of the hype for carbon fiber shafts is that they are more damage resistant than maple so I would think it could handle it.  If you're such a hard breaker, however, I would totally invest in a break cue.  I bought one on Amazon (can't remember the name) for less than $50 that is simple wood with a phenolic tip and it hits HARD and doesn't break a sweat.

Hello, I heard from another review that this shaft is just wood with a black matt finish. How can we know fornsure that it is indeed carbon fiber?

Below, I will tell you the difference between carbon fiber shaft and wooden shaft!
1.You can put them on billiard table,lift one end of a shaft,then release it,the carbon fiber gives more crisper sound;
2. When you touch it,you can feel it is not a wooden shaft with black matt finish,you can feel it is made from a carbon fiber pipe,even your hand will  get a little toner when you touch it,which is left behind due to polishing and incomplete cleaning!
