Worked well and is Made in the USA. Read the directions, but follow your machine’s if different.
GoldTone Coffee Maker Descaler4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. The two plastic bottles of clear descaling solution arrived in a Ziplock-type bag that was also tightly taped shut. Under each lid is the usual “for your protection” seal. Each 8 oz bottle contains enough descaler for two uses, so the two contain enough for 4 uses. How often you need to descale depends on how often you use your coffee machine, so how long these bottles will last will differ for everyone. To my nose there’s no scent to the solution.GoldTone is a well-known brand, and it’s made in the USA, which is always preferable, but I’ve ordered descaling solution from unknown brands because they all contain similar ingredients. The ingredients for this solution aren’t listed on the bottle, which is why I’ve docked ½ star, but a website is provided so you may look them up.Use instructions are clearly written, but each coffee machine may have slightly different requirements so follow your coffee machine’s instructions. For example, our Keurig reservoir is very large so Step 4 “Add water to completely fill reservoir” isn’t correct for it.We used this solution on our De’Longhi Nespresso machine without any issues, so if the price works for you it’s a good choice.

Seems to work
We have an orginal Nespresso machine and one those older Keurig machines at our offices.I used about a third of one bottle for the nespresso and was quite impressed. After following instructions and letting it sit for half an hour I proceeded to the rinse part,. I probably refilled the water receptacle four times and ran it through the machine before the cloudyness disipated and it became clear. I did notice a marginal positive change in the brewing process but still as loud as it's always been. 😊for the Keuring, I used the remainder of one bottle, two thirds, and filled the tank with water. I ran it through and let it sit for half an hour and then proceeded to run clean water througth the machine. I did not notice that it was particularly cloudy as with the Nespresso so I'm not really sure if it did the job. The machine still works fine as before so as I have an additional bottle (it comes with two) I'll attempt another descaling at a later date using an entire bottle.so, on the whole I'd say it works.

Worked
Great value! I have hard water, so I use it 1 time a month. Seams to work great.

Easy to use cleaner (but aluminum beware)
I thrifted a coffee machine that had seen better days, and one of the first things I wanted to do was a deep descale. I ran a ton of water through it, then followed the instructions on the back of this descaler, and the machine works well now without any issues. Each bottle is 2 descale cycles, and I ended up using one whole bottle to descale it (2 cycles). I was hoping to also be able to use this for my Gaggia classic, but one of the main ingredients in this descaler is citric acid, which you aren't supposed to use on the Gaggia because it has an aluminum boiler. For normal coffee and pod machines though this would do the trick with no problems.

Basic Descaler
It is made with citric and sufamic acid, which seems to be pretty standard for coffee machine descalers. Reasonably priced. I ran it through my Technivorm Moccamaster (high end machine) which should improve my coffee and preserve the life of the machine. Research shows that descaler is preferable to home made solutions like vinager. I don't believe there is much difference between commercially available descalers other than price.

Worked ok for my Ninja Coffee machine
I bought this to descale my Ninja coffee pot. We have hard water buildup due to minerals from our well water and I noticed my coffee machine was no longer brewing a full pot anymore. I used this once following the directions and it seemed to help, but the machine still doesn’t seem to be brewing a complete full pot. I will likely need to do it again. It does take some time to clean the system out after using the descaler so have some time available in your schedule.

Good descaling solution from a well known brand
GoldTone is a well known brand that makes all kinds of gold coffee filter products. I use this with my dual boiler espresso machine, and it seems to get the job done. It descaled the thermometer probes pretty nicely when I dipped them into the descale solution, so I'm sure it works.

Easy to follow instructions
These 2 bottles give you 4 cleanings, which should be good for a few years. The instructions were easy to follow and my coffee tasted a little better after running the solution through my Keurig.
