Good value
Budget Akg made in China. I read up on these and these seem like a good investment.Used it on Acoustic guitar so far for a track .I have not tested on drums yet .but I bought a pair for drums tom toms..Actually quite smallgood sounding microphones and at £45 each who's complaining ..nobody buys your music, so you have to record at home and give it away free these days 😉

Good value.
Perfect for toms and decent on snare. Great value, although bleed rejection isn't great so although snare positioning is super due to the size, they pick up LOTS of hat. Way more than a well positioned sm57 for example. They sound great for the money imo.

Ok there are superior ( and far more expensive ) drum/amp microphones out there, but if your like me, gigging 2 or 3 times a month this is great. A fab piece of kit, which I bought to replace a Shure SM58 that was miking up my guitar amp. The Shure is a great Mike, but was far too bulky for this job.

Perfect snare mic
If you need a snare drum mic, and don't want it to encroach into the playing zone, this is the mic for you! Superb sound and really small footprint and the rim clip works a treat, keeping it away from stray sticks. I had an SM57 before and it was far too long to be held on by a rim clip, so it was a case of another mic stand. Who wants to carry even MORE hardware than necessary?!

Versatile
Used this to record my acoustic guitar and didn't need to put alot of processing on when mixing as the frequency response is great
