I’m super satisfied with this product!

Arrived with both sealed in original boxes. Bottles are a dense glass with a darker hued color but, not completely opaque. Dropper comes separately in its own little plastic sleeve. Box mentions that a “popping” sound can occur when you remove the lid from the bottle due to the high concentration of Vitamin C. No popping occured. I’ve used highly concentrated Vitamin C Serums/20% and have only heard of this occurring from the plastic used or the pressure within the bottle. This Serum containing 8% is kind of bottom grade for Vitamin C to be effective but, with this being a complex blending Ascorbic Acid, Panthenol and Tocopherol…it appears the 8% is for the entire blend/complex. With it being marketed for sensitive skin this makes me think the actual Vitamin C is definitely a lower percentage. Formula wise though, I’m a big fan. Seeing the Antioxidants, Vitamin C & E along with Ferulic Acid is always a major plus for their synergy. Has quite a few other antioxidants, humectants and emollients. With that said…pipette fits tightly in the bottle with the plastic insert inside, this also removes any excess Serum along the outside of dropper. Bulb pulls fluid easily without requiring much pressure. Serum is slightly scented but, it’s not a soured type of scent...more like the natural scent of the various oils included. Color of the Serum is a light yellow. Viscosity is thin making it extremely runny with a tiny hint of an oily undertone. Applies easily and glides across with no issues, also presses well. I personally apply it during the day. Formula is lightweight so it doesn’t leave a heaviness after absorbing. No sticky or tacky after-feel. Leaves skin feeling smooth and almost moisturized in a way. With consistent use can see this helping with minor hyperpigmentation. So far it’s helped with overall tone and giving a brightening effect at duller areas. No signs of irritation. Would recommend to purchase one bottle at a time though because this will last a while.

As a Vitamin C serum, I guess it was just my expectation that this would have a citrus scent. However, it is actually more peppery, and I can't say that I am very fond of it. It is only noticeable to me while I apply it, and am specifically trying to smell it, though. It doesn't linger or bother me after that, but some may be put off by it if they weren't expecting it.Even for a serum, this feels a bit on the watery side, and I find that I have to use at least 6 drops compared to the 2-3 recommended to fully cover my face. Two drops does not get you very far. With that 6 drops, my face does feel well coated, though, and dries in a way that leaves my skin feeling fresh and lightly moisturized.I have combination to oily skin, and for me, I usually wouldn't want to put moisturizer on over this (at least not in the daytime), which would make me feel greasy. If you have dry skin, this probably won't be sufficient, as serums are meant to be applied before moisturizer.The vitamin C in this product will not make your skin more sensitive to the sun, like retinol will, though there is a somewhat long list of ingredients, and I can't vouch for all of them. (I failed to get a picture of that side for this review. I will try to remember to update.). The Vitamin C will oxidize, however, so they recommend using it within 3 months of opening, or refrigerating it, which is a pretty short time span if you rotate using several other products, like I do. It is in a brown bottle, however, which will help reduce its exposure to sunlight.This is a pretty nice quality product, and I like the way it leaves my skin feeling, though I don't think 2-3 drops provides realistic coverage, which will likely cause you to go through the bottle twice as fast as expected. That may not be the worst thing, considering the short shelf life. However, at the current price of $45.70, I don't consider that to be a tremendous value.
