This is real high quality grenadine, made with real sugar, rather than high fructose corn syrup. It tastes considerably better than the ones made with corn syrup, and the unique, pomegranate taste really shines through. Goes great with Coke (think Roy Rogers) or ginger ale (think Shirley Temple), or just about any soft drink you may want to try it with. The only disadvantage is it’s in a plastic bottle and therefore doesn’t have the greatest seal. It had leaked a small amount - maybe an ounce or so - during shipping, so depending on how far or how forcefully the shipping company decides to toss it around, you could end up with a sticky mess inside the box. It was well packed for shipping however, which is a plus. Given the reasonable price and great taste, I’m planning on purchasing another bottle and crossing my fingers for luck regarding its journey to my doorstep. Highly recommended!

I started watching my weight a few months ago and switched to sugar free syrups. I use this one to mix mocktails and cocktails and I thought I'd get complaints about the after taste from my discerning husband and a few friends who claim they can taste fake sugar a mile away. Every single person is floored when they learn the sweetener is calorie free. I'm going to keep buying this one because it's perfect for my needs.

The packaging is marginal at best, tossed into a box, tape breaking lose, no packaging paper or anything for cushion, two plastic bottles being beaten around in the box, one leaking slightly. Last time I ordered just one bottle, same scenario. Packaging is a borderline fail

I like this for making a sugar free Old Fashioned -- saves calories -- of course the real thing is better but this is a good substitute

UPDATE TO FROM ONE STAR REVIEW to FIVE STARLava contacted me directly and graciously and quickly replaced the open product that was sent by AmazonORIGINAL REVIEW: Collar seal was intact but not inner seal. Leaked in box. Unable to return. Tossed in the trash. One star for that reason. I’m unable to comment on the quality of the product.

It's good syrup. I was hoping for more of a grenadine taste. It's very sweet without a lot of other taste, but that's probably normal.

I had high hopes for this sugar-free simple syrup. However, it has a strong, musky, unpleasant flavor that completely overpowers my fresh brewed iced tea.
