Great light nice and bright but not over bright perfect for a house party turns your living room into a disco. Red green and blue colours no amber colour on mine which is unusual and disappointing for a disco light. Mine has 10 effects 2 of those are sound to light and speed of effect up and down. The music needs to be high or the light needs to be close to your speakers to work affectively in sound to light modes. light returns to the last effect used when turned of if saved using enter button. There appears to be many versions of this light. But I am happy with this version for now. I would like to get one in the future with more colours that are separately controlled, Remote operated so it can be easily controlled on the Ceiling and better sound to light response at lower volume. Bought from Zuwitdirect fulfilled by amazon when I bought it. Arrived within 12 days. Mine had a adapter plug included.

Good product very effective. I used it for a birthday party. The mode that changes colour with the beat of the music was brilliant!

Although the instructions are not very clear (could be better) I managed to get it working and go through all the different patterns/colours by pressing buttons!! When working it looks amazing and I am more than happy with this. Also the plug socket is small and can be a bit tricky getting out of socket.

Cheap and nasty. I switched it on to test it and something went pop. The lights come on but do not rotate. The menu does not light up so there is no option to change anything. this will be going straight back.

Cheap chinese rubbish. As soon as I got the box I knew it wasn't a quality item. It was unbranded and looked just like some other cheaper versions on Amazon. I changed my mind briefly when we turned it on as it did fill the room with lots of nice colourful lights, but it broke minutes later - looking through the clear plastic I can see that some wires have come away from the PCB - probably a result of one of the rotational options (that you can choose by pressing the up down buttons on the front). There was no remote and no USB or SD input (mentioned in other reviews). The instructions were incoherent and what confirmed for me that this was cheap Chinese tat. I have been generous in giving it 2 stars as if it worked I would like it a bit more!

We (family of 4 with kids aged 3 and4) LOVE LOVE LOVE this item. Surprised to see an affordable item for sale that turns our house into a disco whenever we want. Brilliant fun for a dark winter's evening - thinking of buying a bunch for christmas pressies for our friends. We had some reservations about purchase following reviews on this site about the item being poorly packaged and the issue with plug, however the item came double boxed and with a suitable adaptor included at no extra charge. We also were concerned from the picture and the price that the throw wouldn't be that great, (the picture here seems to be very close to a wall/screen) but adequately fills our modest sized living room. Fixing the unit on its side will make better use of the beams. The instructions are very basic, but with a bit of trial and error it is fairly simple to work out (my mum would have no idea, but is a technophobe). You have a range of functions to select from and then you can vary the speed (1-9) and then hit a button to keep that setting in place. I would have no idea how to use this with DMX, but this is just for home use so no overly concerned!

Not impressed to open this up an hour before the surprise party to find it came with a US plug. Cue last minute dashing around to find and fit a UK plug. In fairness though, once it was plugged in it worked well enough for the purpose, gave a pleasing effect that filled our quite large conservatory. You can choose between blue, red, green and mixed colour effects that can either be quite fast moving/flashing or a bit slower. I found the red slow effect was perfect. Will probably use it again some time if there's another party

Creates a nice environment for both adults and kids. Can't expect better for that price! Would recommend anybody who have a small party gather 50-60 people; everybody will enjoy it
