Such a great military đȘ set!!! đ
I liked how each tank has its own design and cool features it has. As well as liking the toy soldiers it came with! Now I do have to say that building the tanks is a bit difficult if you are an impatient person. And you have to try your best, which is what I did. And the reviews about missing pieces or cheaply made toy tanks is just ridiculous, since all my tanks came in with no missing pieces and are not cheaply made either! So I would definitely recommend you to buy this and try it out if you like military/army sets like me!!!đđ

Lego tanks
Difficult to put together. If you like legos it might be a gift for you. Have to glue pieces together as they fall apart real easy.

They fall apart if you look at them
My son bought these for himself. One of his first purchases. They had great reviews from others and looked like they could be built and rebuilt and played with easily. Win-win-win. Not at all the case when we got them. They were impossible to keep assembled. They would just fall apart sitting on the table. One was missing a part. Several other parts were very warped. We ended up gluing them together. We had thought the treads moved or there were wheels. There are not. We found some die cast toys for him and I don't think he's touched these since.

Get it for the tanks alone, not as a durable playset
This is an interesting niche product. As a collectible for the tanks alone, it makes for neat gift for the casual model-maker and WW2 buff (serious or high-end collectors would be disappointed), but as a younger kid's product as a whole, it misses the mark. When I initially got this set, I thought this was going to make a good gift for my kids for them to have some tanks to go with their plastic toy soldier sets. I was wrong. But after resetting my expectations, there's some good value in this product.Firstly the tanks themselves are a roughly 1:84 scale - this means that they are not truly to scale with most plastic toy soldiers (which are around 1:32 to 1:35 scale): the tanks will be much smaller than the soldiers. The soldiers included with the tanks are also a different scale than the typical 1:32-1:35 scale (54mm) plastic toy soldiers commonly used - the soldiers are more of a 1:40 scale, 45mm height.Secondly, these tanks of made of at least 2-3 types of soft plastic, use a peg-and-hole (mortise and tenon) construction, and use a fair number of small puzzle pieces that really could have been cast in one piece - the the pictorial instructions are adequate, but you need to be able to really visualize and think in 3D to be able to piece the parts together. Kids under the age of 10 I think will struggle if asked to assemble the tanks alone. Technically, no glue needed, but you'll find that the pieces will fall apart fairly easily if the tank models are bumped or knocked around. Super glue is recommended to keep the models all together. The detail on the tanks will delight casual model builders and kids - turrets turn, gun barrels can elevate (on most tanks), and there's detailing even on parts of the tank that aren't going to be normally visible. Having said that, because the tanks use so many different pieces (i.e. the main, hidden body "hull" of most tanks is around 12 pieces), there's a lot of join lines that will be apparent even if you tightly glue parts together. While most parts fit well, and the peg-and-hole placement is actually very well done, there will be places where things just won't line up (for example, this is seen most frequently in the tank treads won't line up exactly). This will be frustrating. Also an oddity: the Abrams M1A2 tank is the only modern tank included out of the set of 6, which are mostly WW2 German tanks and assault guns. All in all, this set is not really meant for the rough play that kids will impose on their plastic army toys in the sandbox (and I can see younger kids being very challenged in building the tanks). I could see this in casual wargaming or miniatures, but the weird scale makes them a challenge to use and the imperfections in construction will dissatisfy fussy collectors and gamers. Rather, I would say this set makes the perfect gift starter-intro to tank modelling, for someone who is a casual tank or war buff, who hasn't done a lot of model building, and is looking for a light build challenge.

Nice little set but difficult to assemble
I got this for my son for Christmas. It didnât come in a box or nice bag just these little bags that came in one slightly larger clear plastic bag with zero labels. If you are expecting a box, you wonât have one. So far my kiddo made me build one of the tanks because the instructions were not clear for him (and I struggled too!) you really have to look at the pieces in all angles and then see how it may work together. The weapons on top are SUPER tiny. If you have pets or under 3, keep this far away. Those will be victims to the vacuum im sure. The pieces also try to come apart as you are trying to build. They donât stay together like youâd want. Once build they are more secure but i wonder how long it will last. On the positives, my kiddo loves them. Says the tank is great and he likes it. That makes up for the cons. I do think itâs better quality than say the dollar shops but not as good as a Lego. I would say they are more a 3.5/5 but they arenât a 3 so thatâs why the 4 star.
