This is some really good cable!! I was going to hard wire it to my breaker panel in the basement to power inlet socket in garage, as well as make a nice cable from the generator to the inlet socket. My electrician buddy said its not code to run permenant from breaker to outlet. Something to think about. I got some proper rated romex for that. But this cable is really beefy. Very flexible and thick insulation. It has an odor, but if you're the super sensitive type, order a can of Febreeze and baby wipes. Lol.

Very good and durable for underground or extension cord use.Check local codes for acceptance if wiring for a domicile or outbuilding.

Given the price of metals these days, this cable is a great price and meets or exceeds the specifications of durability, flexibility all weather, and amperage capacity. I use it as the main power cable from my generator to my shop tools when remote from shop, and as a backup power cable to my house during street power outages.

Good electrical cable at a good value. This stranded wire cord is quite flexible. The protective rubber sheathing is pliable & durable. The cable is 4W3P meaning 2 wires for power, 1 wire for common, plus 1 wire for ground. This cable is specifically made for 240VAC power supplies, making this ideal for generator power transmission. Wire size is 10AWG and will readily handle a 30-35 Amp current load. This bulk wire is getting harder to find in my area. Shipping was prompt and fast. If you have a generator or are thinking of getting one, this cord and electrical plugs/receptacles are essential. Don't forget the power transfer switch. Just what I ordered

Ok, 5 Star for the cable. It's flexible, high quality and probably one of the best values I could find in a four conductor 10AWG cable (I got it for under $80 here on amazon) . The only ding (took a star away) is that it took a long time for the smell to go away (probably some cariogenic release agent). I had to store it in the garage for a few months and even now can sometimes get a whiff. Still it's a nice cord ... and I highly recommend it!I used it to build two extension cords, and a conversion cable for my welder and plasma torch both of which are 220 and take a bit over 20A. One cord is 35 ft, the other 12 ft, and a two foot NEMA L14-30 to the 3 prong 50 Amp outlet my welder required. One of the advantages to having 4 wires is that the neutral is available if you want to make a single phase converter cable (or better a box with all the plug types you'd need at the other end)

Purchased this cable to run 220 volts from my generator into a 60 amp sub-breaker box in my house. Unfortunatly, the power went out the day after i ordered it... timing RIGHT! Well, the cable came (and YES!,the power was still out) so I used it within 15 min of getting it from UPS. I used it for almost 4-5 hours (till power came back on) without any problems. The cable is good quality, weather resistant and has a very durable outer casing. I would highly recomend this for anyone using a generator and or for outdoor uses.
