Product itself is great. Love these smoked sardines in olive oil as part of a keto diet. Haven't found these in my local stores yet. However, Amazon shipped in a padded envelope and one of the sardine containers plastic seal broke. Leaked sardine juice and olive oil all over the other 3 sardine containers and soaked through the padded envelope. Had to throw away the one with broken seal. These need to ship better. Placing the padded evelope in a small shipping box could solve this.

Best of the best. I don't buy any other brand. Taste is impeccably good. Nice variation. I like them even better when they're plain, but this version is great to have on hand just because...thick, top grade fish. Quite appetizing 🤤👌.

It costs a little bit more than some but it worth the price.

I’m in awe. I tried King Oscar (the 4-pack, in red packaging, I dot know if/how it differs from the gold pack, they’re both two-layer in EVOO) and frankly I was disappointed, I don’t know if it was the wood they were smoked with or they weren’t cleaned well, but there was an off flavor I didn’t like. But I’ve never been disappointed by Brunswick Sardines (or herring, for that matter). The flavor is clean, fishy in a good way, excellent olive oil, and the plastic seal is easy for arthritic fingers to remove (also great for kids, no chance of cutting fingers on sharp metal edges — you canbb b even share the leavings with your dog or cat in the can with no danger to their mouths! My terrier Flynn agrees: Brunswick Sardines rule! He was unimpressed with King Oscar ones, tho.

These Brunswick Mediterranean olive oil and black olives canned sardines are the best I have ever had, bar none! Minimal fishiness, great smoke, garlic and spice flavor! Set on a Ritz with pickled red sweet onions, and feta cheese, is a gourmet snack to die for! Even leaves a great aftertaste, like shrimp scampi or garlic bread. Great on a Greek salad! I will be buying many more cans.

I like a firm brisling or pilchard. When they fall apart too easily they are too mushy to enjoy. Firmer sardines just taste more fresh. Now if you are looking for a good brisling that is a bargain I would stick with Polar smoked brislings in olive oil. They are firm and very smokey. All Brunswick I have tried are just a bit too mushy for my tastes.
