This book offers a treasure trove of insights that are both deeply personal and universally applicable. The central premise of the book is as empowering as it is simple: happiness is a choice that gains momentum through deliberate action. The author's narrative does not merely serve as a memoir; it is the canvas on which she illustrates a step-by-step master plan designed to unlock the happiness within each of us. What sets this book apart is its rare combination of personal vulnerability, practical advice, and scientific rigor. The author's candid acknowledgment of her past, her embrace of her "weirdo" self, and her relentless pursuit of joy—even in the face of "hell yes" challenges—inspires courage. The tone is conversational, yet the content is profound, particularly when addressing the art of self-forgiveness and the cessation of negative self-talk. Gallant provides actionable steps that are both intuitive and innovative, ensuring that the reader is equipped to make tangible changes in pursuit of a happier existence. Moreover, the book is a reminder that the pursuit of happiness is not a selfish act; it is a profound journey of self-compassion that allows us to emerge as better, more joyful participants in our collective human experience. You will find the Happy You!
Each chapter of M.A. Gallant’s book, Find the Happy You, is filled with an engaging blend of wisdom, personal stories and humor. It was a delight to read this engaging book. The concepts and topics in the book, while not new, are written about with a fresh energy that seems to be a very natural part of M.A. Gallant’s style.I enjoyed the suggestions on how to apply what she’s teaching and references to other resources if someone wants to dive deeper. As I read each chapter and reflected on how I was one was “doing” in that area I felt encouraged to take a step, without judgement, to improve that area. Starting small where you are was a theme mentioned more than one time, which is so necessary when making these lifestyle changes.I highly recommend this book for anyone not feeling their best! This book not only offers hope and encouragement but also simple and effective tools, strategies and mindsets for living a happy and fulfilling life.

Not deep, but thoughtful
The book does present some good ideas and ways to make your life better but it could probably be condensed into a booklet with bullet points and be just as helpful as a full book. I found it somewhat helpful but not as profound as I was hoping.

Find the Happy Review by Dolly Stamer
Find the Happy Review by Dolly Stamer My review for this book is five stars. Every chapter is helpful. I will be referring to the book many times. So many things happen in life to make us upset and demoralized, however, this book is like having your best friend hold your hand. I have written a children's book called "Bumper Bird's Adventure" and I wish I had that book by my side when I wrote this book to keep me happy. Also I wish I had this book by my side when I do narrations for other people's books. Wonderful book.

Very good book
Very motivational book to take the most from each day! Perfect for all those who are having rough times and loose hope to be happy again. It’s an everyday work but I think that if you manage to be happy a little bit each day, even if it’s just for 5 minutes, you already achieved a lot. I specially liked the part about “mind your business” and “find your purpose”. I highly recommend.

A Good Place
The author shares her challenges and hard times and how she went on to find her happy place. The scenario is predictable and the formula follows the common sense approach found in many self-help books. That being said, Find The Happy You is a good read, well written, and for those seeking guidance, it's a good place to start. g

Interesting book
The author give in-depth insights on how to become happy by reflecting on her own life experience, which is quite fasinating. Happiness and freedom is very important to the author, which she pays a lot of effort to achieve those. The book is easy to read with lots of suggestion to how to achieve the happiness that we deserved, and it also prompt you to reflect on your own. If you have been trying to please others and not acting out your true self, this book will certainly help. I like the way the book present the ideas in an interesting way and very easy to understand, and it is also well written. I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their life and feel better. It gives me a lot of insights which I will try out, even as simply as smiling more! My only comment on improvement is the book cover. Though funny and standing out, it can look more professional and attractive, so as to get more attention to it.

Take Action and Find Happiness
As this year is coming to a close, I am looking for ways to be happier in 2024. I bought this book on promotion and was very attracted to the simple, yet effective cover and positive reviews. The book is a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to finding happiness. The book is written in a casual tone which is refreshing from the many other non-fiction books I read that have lots of references and statistics. It is part memoir as the author had a difficult relationship with her father growing up and a subsequent bad marriage which caused depression in her life. She later trained as a nurse and rebuilt her life and learned to be happy. The biggest takeaway from this book is that happiness does indeed come from within and you, yourself, can do a lot to be happier. The author presents many actionable steps on how to train your brain to be happier and how to increase your happiness levels now. She includes ways to handle stress, anxiety, difficult people and situations, and how to examine yourself and your life to find your happiness. As someone who believes in wellness, I like how she included the often overlooked basics - good nutrition, exercise, sleep, sunlight, and positive relationships as an important component of achieving happiness too. This book was easy to read and gave good tips that I will implement in the year ahead.
