TRIM VENEER LIKE A PRO
Very easy to trim veneer with this tool. Allows you to stabilize the blade against the work. Standard snap blades fit this tool so you can always keep a sharp edge. This did not work as well on super thick veneer but standard veneer cut like butter

Works great
I don't like the dual-edge trimmers, which can bind from the doubled resistance of making simultaneous cuts to two edges. This created a precise edge and never bound or tore at the banding. You can rock it backward as you cut to control the angle of the banding to the door front. I found that feature useful.

Takes practice to work properly
It comes in a plain cardboard box, not instructions or anything. You definitelty need to practice to get good flush cuts.

Easy to operate for a Clean Edge
If this is your first time using this style trimmer, just take it slow and easy until you get the feel of how easy it is to do edge banding trimming. Cuts are smooth, easy to adjust with a natural feel in your hand.

Wished I had spent a little more on something easier to use!
I bought this because it was my first attempt at using edge banding and I was trying to minimize my investment in case it went horribly wrong. While this got the job done, I will say I now wish I would've spent more and gotten a dual-sided trimmer. This one takes a little patience, especially getting it started, once you get started it works pretty smoothly, but you can go off course if you're not careful. I also found it easier to move right to left than left to right (I suspect this would vary if you are left handed vs right handed); so to get the best results I have to flip the board around instead of just coming back on the other side of the board.Overall, the tool seems to be built well. The snap-off blades will be convenient if/when the blade seems to dull from repeated use.
