Let me address the reasons these tampons are rated low by some.
Let me first start off by saying this: I have tried many different brands of organic cotton tampons. Off the top of my head, I’d say it’s been around 5 or 6 different brands. Before I ever switched to organic cotton tampons, I did use tampax. That was years ago.A couple of the reviews on here are complaining about the leaks and comparing them to Tampax. Please allow me to address these two reasons people are rating this brand low.I don’t personally see a difference in these tampons than the other organic cotton ones I’ve used. The issues I’ve had with other organic cotton tampons are the same ones (mostly) that I’ve had with these. The biggest? That the super size still needs to be changed very frequently during the first (sometimes second) day of my period. It does leak, it doesn’t absorb much, BUT all the organic tampons that I’ve used (that I can remember) have been that way.Is it because they’re organic? I don’t know. Could it be because they’re just cotton and do not have all sorts of other harmful materials in them? Possibly.Which brings me to my next point. Stop comparing organic cotton tampons to the terrible-filled-with-synthetic-and-who-knows-what-else-fibers tampon brand. I mean, really. That’s dumb. Either decide you’re going to make the switch because you want something better for your body, or be quiet and stay with your artificial tampon so you can go 6 hours without changing it.I rated these a five because i freaking love the light absorbency tampons they have. For me, those are perfect near the end of my cycle, when I don’t need a regular tampon, but still need something. I’d usually just wear a panty liner, but I prefer tampons.I am going to try the super plus next time to see if it adsorbs better.Either way, I’ll never go back to synthetic fiber-filled tampons.

These Do Not Work
I wanted to like these. I tried them for 4 cycles to see if I would change my mind, but I will not be repurchasing. Yes, I love the idea of using all organic tampons and knowing what is in them. That being said, they need to work. Here are my complaints:1.) These are not that absorbent. I've tried both regular and super. Both absorbencies need to be changed very frequently and even when I change them, I find that they didn't absorb much at all. They do not expand nor hold moisture well, so your flow just goes right past it and you get leaks. I can normally use a regular absorbency of Tampax and need to change every 4-6 hours so it isn't me.2.) Leaks, leaks and more leaks.3.) In any given box of tampons, there are at least 3 tampons where the applicator does not work. It's like the tip of the applicator goes around the tampon and holds it rather than pushing it where it needs to go.On to the next one!

Poorly Made, Hard to Insert, Doesn’t Snap into Place...
I really wanted to use these but the way they are made is very cheap for the price... I normally use Tampax Pearl Tampons and I love the way they glide in and smoothly snap into place... Plus the braided string has a bit of absorbency...These tampons are nothing like that. While the packaging is pretty, that’s about all you get when you buy / use these...First off, when you unwrap the tampon you will find a wobbly and very cheaply made applicator... After pulling it into position and inserting it you will find that there is ALWAYS at least 1/2 of an inch left still in the applicator... No matter how you maneuver you just can’t get the applicator to go any further and snap the tampon into place... So now you are faced with leaving the tampon where it is which is uncomfortably too low in your vagina and feels like it’s going to slide out at any moment or you will resort to using both hands to attempt to wrangle the thing deep into place and if you have any type of nails, Lord have Mercy, you will be painfully pinching parts of you that you didn’t know existed!!! 80% of the time you will not be successful in getting the applicator to snap the tampon into place and will have to shove the whole thing deep inside you hoping it gets far enough in to be tolerable... The other 20% of the time the applicator will just simply slide past the tampon entirely and won’t insert at all and now you have a wasted tampon...Overall, for the price... there is no excuse for how poorly these things are made... After trying to “get used” to these for 3 cycles, I will not be reordering... I guess it’s back to cancer causing tampons until I can find something of quality but these here guys just ain’t cutting it!!!

Difficult to use
I found the applicator to be somewhat useless as the tampon doesn't ever deploy properly. I'm not sure if there is a specific technique one has to use. I was previously using tampax pearl tampons with no issues whatsoever. With every single one of the cora tampons, I have had to take the tampon out and insert it without the applicator. This has been both uncomfortable and messy. The only reason I have continued to be able to try this product is because I'm using my own bathroom while working from home, but the above issues are not user-friendly for public restrooms, especially on the heavier flow days. The absorbency has not been so great either despite trying different ones (regular, super) for heavier flow. Still had to use a few pads. I would like to try to use products that are not toxic, but will probably be testing out a different brand. But I do support their mission

No leaks!
Wow - finally found a brand that works. I'm a life-long Tampax user, but have played around with other brands lately - Playtex & U by Kotex & even the Walmart brand trying to save a little $$$. I've always been a leaker, though, and figured that was normal. No leaks with this one! There is a unique "octogonal" shape to the thing that I think is the key to that. I like also that they are compact. And there is some thought to impact on the environment and the body.
