Super easy to install most definitely work well, every day before I put these on I had problems closing the garage door because of direct sunlight. Put these on in 30 seconds. Problem solved thumbs up for this product, but I do think Chamberlain should address this issue.

For the longest time, I have been troubleshooting why my garage door struggled to close. Each time, I never found discrepancies. I discovered that a next door neighbor had been pointing some kind of device at my garage door during the closure process. (Yes, I saw him in action via my driver's side mirror.) I assume it was a laser. After I installed this product, I have not had any interruptions associated with the closing the garage door. But this product and install it just for the cause. It's very easy to install. This product does not cover the lights attached to the sensor. It fits snuggly onto the iron bar that holds the sensor.

Have a garage door with just the right summertime sun exposure to cause sporadic connection on my door sensor. Been going on since we built the house. Since adding the sun shade, I've not had one problem. Great solution but there is one very important caveat; in my install, I only put the shade on the most exposed sensor. When I attempted to install the shade on both door sensors, it caused the door to stop - apparenly the LED wasn't strong enough or I couldn't get the shades to align properly. No worries for me, installing on one side worked fine.

The sun in the winter time blocks my garage door sensors making it a pain to close the garage door. This device fixed that issue. Installation took about 15 secs per sensor. You just put the sun blocker in the sensor, then twist to lock in position. Thats it. Problem solved. Great job designing and making this easy.
