FoxWatchMains Adapter Bundle

The item has a flimsy cheap feel although it costs £60 with adapter. The plastic is thin and not robust. The cover to the battery/mains connector broke as i leavered it out. The battery/mains adapter connection is also cheap and flimsy. So overall I was disappointed by the quality of the product. Does it work?. I have it on the mains all the time and will give it a couple of weeks to see if it is deterring the foxes.

Only installed for a week using the mains adapter, so too early to see whether this is affecting fox visits. We are also using Scoot and have tried to obscure entry points etc.Worryingly our mains RCD tripped overnight last week (that has never happened before). I hope there is nothing untoward in the mains adaptor that could have caused that. Will monitor closely (perhaps use a battery if we go on holiday?) and update review later.Update Oct 19No more electrical issues with product. We still get foxes in the garden but they don’t come onto the patio area anymore that is nearest to the unit.Fair compromise......

If you are here looking for something to deter foxes from digging your lawn this device has absolutely no effect, the first night I put it out the foxes came and dug away as usual and continue to do so. Do NOT waste your money is my advice, also those electronic red eye devices sold here on amazon don't work either.

Hasn't got rid of the foxes but they don't seem to be as destructive in the garden now, think they are just passing through to get into their den.

Bought this for our daughter as we had great success with ours a few years ago and the foxes haven't returned. Ours is plugged into the mains but when we tried using battery on this one it didn't seem very effective and battery life was only a week or so. Since hooking up to mains electricity it is doing it's stuff in style. No more foxes, no more wrecked plants.

Not impressed as the fox's still come in the garden and walk around.

Set this up together with some "flashing eyes". Neither device has any effect on our fox who can be seen on CCTV trotting cheerfully towards the flashing eyes oblivious of any high-pitched sound that this gadget may or may not be emitting.

Tried it on the mains for a week and a half & the fox simply cr*ps in front of it. I have a small garden so no issues with the range. Such a shame as I had high hopes and the company are really nice, but it just doesn’t work.
