Book 2.5 Runes sereis and Book 1 Grimnirs
Grimnars is part of the Runes series as well as being book 1 in the Grimnirs series. This book is the story of Cora Jemison, best friend of Raine Cooper and Eirik Seville.Cora finds she can now see ghosts after being marked by a rogue Immortal called Maliina. Cora has recently spent time in a psychiatric hospital, but finds no-one has missed her because unbeknown to her Maliina has been impersonating Cora.Whilst at the Supermarket with her mother Cora is once again faced by ghosts and is just about to deal with them herself when a hooded figure arrives, clad in leather, a maverick called Echo, Cora meets her first Grimnir or reaper of souls.Maliina and Echo had previously had a relationship whilst she looked and acted as Cora, this leads to some confusion when Echo misses slight differences in the girls and falls fowl of Valkyrie Torin and Seeress Rain.Soon Cora finds herself in the middle of a battleground as others see her as a direct line to Odin's Grandson and Echo will do anything to protect her. This is a series set around Norse mythology and I really enjoyed the introduction of Echo, his fierce independence and loyalty to Cora was delightful.

How many hot fantasy males can an author create? And with a gripping story to boot!
Oh. My. Word. First Torin is my dream male Valkyrie and now Echo! Albeit not a true Valkyrie. Two hot characters and another action packed, thrilling, exciting and heart stopping storyline. A whole new side to the mythical norse world that Ednah has created is revealed and just like Cora we have to decide whether it is simply black and white between Valkyries and Grimnirs, friends and enemies or if there is the smallest chance that love can be found in the grey areas. Whether good can be found in the darkest places.I enjoyed this new spin off and tie-in with the Runes series I finished it in one day! Started it at 6 and read it through to midnight only stopping for tea. A highly recommended read for current and new fans.It is not only refreshing to explore this world through the eyes of different characters but it also adds a new layer of imagination and connection between reader and story. Plus for those who didnt fall in love with Torin, Ednah has another chance to sieze their hearts in the dark and alluring Echo.

Well hello Echo!!! Wow another great read
**SPOILER ALERT**I never imagined reading this genre of books would be so addictive, I have just got to read more. Ednah writes in a style that will keep the reader captivated and left wanting more.Cora is released from the psych ward, she is usually a sweet, bubbly, caring but strong character. She now seems totally withdrawn and just wants to be normal. she cannot understand why none of her friends visited. At the end of the last book she was acting totally out of character, in fact a bit bitchy. There is a lot of confusion for Cora and me Is she now hallucinating? she keeps seeing ghosts!!Echo, a totally mouth-wateringly hot sizzling guy who initially treats Cora as if they have been lovers for a while, yet she is sure she is still a virgin. He is a grimnir and he reaps lost souls for Hel. He helps Cora understand why she is seeing ghosts, or lost souls. He and Cora could be so right for each other as they are both fiery characters and the sparks fly a lot with these two.Where does Mellina, Ingrid's bitchy sister fit into the story!!!You will be rooting for Cora and Echo to get together. It was so nice to actually see more about Cora and her home life to get a better understanding of who she is.

As always amazing book from Ednah
I love books from Ednah. She never stops to amaze me.The story is about Cora, Raine's best friend. In the previous parts I thought she is that positive, easy going blonde teenager and I am ashamed to admit that I thought that there is not much in her. I liked her, but couldn't really connect. How wrong I was about her! She is caring and smart. I felt so sorry for her at the beginning. She was thrown in the world she had no idea about and she didn't have anyone to talk about it! I felt for her about her feeling for Eirik, but then! I stopped feeling sorry, because she has Echo. And let me tell you this: smoking hot and cocky boyfriend? Yes please!I like that Ednah is concentrating more on different characters and develops them really well. I can see how Cora grows and matures through the book. And the next part? Is even better!

We already know and love Cora but do we know the hidden depths to ...
The thrilling third book in the Runes series delves into Coras world. We already know and love Cora but do we know the hidden depths to her. We do now. Cora may have been Miss popular but within the world we have come to love, Cora was in her best friends shadow. In Grimnirs, she steps out of that shadow in a big way and makes her mark on the world of Norse Mythology. The story kicks off with Cora returning home after a nasty stint in the local Psych ward. Not only has she had to endure the Psych ward but nobody, including her best friends, gave a damn. That's because nobody knew she had been missing thanks to a certain evil Norn. She still has her long term crush though right? Nope, he left town without a word..ouch!With all the doom and gloom of her life, who can blame her when a red hot Grimnir with a cocky smile and bad boy attitude enters her room, she finds herself throwing caution to the wind. Echo is divine..well actually he's an arrogant so-and-so who is only interested in himself. He is however, insanely hot. He knows how to make the strongest of men cower and the strongest of women throw herself at his feet. He is nothing short of my new book boyfriend.Echo comes into Coras world and turns it upside down and inside out inbetween reaping souls, trips to Hel and turning Cora to jelly with his touch.Join Cora on the latest amazing adventure in the Runes series and try not to lust too hard for Mr Wolf Eyes.

Loved this one from Cora's perspective
While the 3rd in the series, this book was from Cora's perspective. I loved the insight into what had gone on with her and how she was coping. The twist with Maliina was well written and explained a lot that occurred in book 2 that I know I had been questioning. I loved the misunderstanding and connection between her and Echo, and we finally see Eirik return to Earth too. Overall well written and I look forward to more in the series.

Cora!
I was excited to see that this book was going to follow Cora, after all of the messed up things that happen it was great to see something from her perspective and I loved her as a character. She is so easily relatable a bit more then Raine sometimes but there friendship together is definately friendship goals!I was a bit worried how Cora was going to fit into this world more then a BFF but glad that she gets her own story, especially to see how the other side is as well the opposite of Valkyries Grimnirs!I love the character of Echo there was just something about him that was intriging and you know he is going to be the bad boy of the series but the way he is with Cora was different and less cliche. It is most definately a New Adult book and not for the young reads cause wow!A lot of great side characters as well which make it really funny especially Andris.

Nun geht es in diesem Teil um Cora und Echo:Straight out of the psych ward, Cora just wants her life to be normal. She doesn’t want to see souls or the reapers collecting them. The guy she’s loved from a distance for years moves away without saying goodbye. So yes, she’s nursing a serious heartbreak. It’s no wonder love is the last thing on her mind when Echo storms into her life. The chemistry between them is mind-blowing.The connection defies logic. Even better, the souls leave her alone when he is around.Too bad Echo is the poster boy for everything she hates in a guy—hot, beautiful, and cocky. He is also a soul reaper. A Grimnir. The very beings she wants out of her life. Maybe normal is overrated because Cora wants it all. Answers. Love. A life.

Eirik a déménagé.

Nice plot.
How easy it is for gods and immortals to play with our lives. Not caring what the consequences will have on our lives. Hopefully, some care enough to help.

Encore mieux!

Wonderful book...for more mature readers!
In book 3 we get a point of view from Cora, Raine’s best friend. This book is pretty graphic, so I would limit the age group as to how young should read it. I read the original version, but there is also a clean version available as well. For the otlder readers, I think it is a great book, as you meet new characters and get to know Cora’s run of events as to what happens, and meet a whole different group of people (Griminirs). In this book we get introduced to Echo, who becomes a main character in the rest of the series. He helps Cora get through so many issues she was having when she was at PMI and she eventually makes up with Raine, although their relationship never goes back to how it was before. The main aspect that bothers me in the books is how close Raine, Cora, and Eirik were, but the moment they meet someone else, it’s like their friendship is put on the back burner. They do not hardly see each other, and rarely get time without the significant other there as well. It seems like a slightly unhealthy relationship on both sides.
