The item arrived as described and on time. The little Elementex box it came in was very compact and seems that it will be the best way to transport the device when I am on the go. Pairing was a bit confusing, for others who are looking to buy this, in order to turn pairing off hold the play/pause button for at least 6+ seconds when the speaker is OFF (not on), otherwise the speaker will just shut off. After that it is play and go, very easy instructions and easy handling.To sum up:Pros:-Very very light and small;-Creative and pleasant design;-LED lights don't glare at all, not intrusive;-Sound quality is quite clear, minimal distortion;-30+ feet of bluetooth connectivity range- no matter how far you are (in range), sound is good;-Charging is a snap;-Instructions are simple and concise.Cons:-Charging wire is quite short (only about 1 ft) and has only USB end;-Sound range is very small, this speaker will NOT fill a room with sound (even a 300 sq ft room), but it will give you plenty of sound to enjoy music. Basically, your neighbors will never complain from the sound, and it doesn't go to blasting levels;-Distortion at higher volume, but can be fixed by not putting your music player (iPhone 4S in my case) to max volume;- Bass is not very strong.(Seeing as I bought this to mostly use at the beach, I will update later as to how it sounds when I try it out)UPDATE 01.14.2013: THIS SPEAKER WILL NOT BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE BEACH. THE SOUND IS TOO QUIET FOR IT.

When purchasing this speaker I was looking for something I could use with my iPhone in a industrial setting, which I also wouldn't be too upset if it got damaged... So price was my first consideration. Then this inexpensive speaker had to have decent battery life because my work shifts are from 8 to 10 hours with an occasional 12 hour day.Two things caught my attention when searching for a Bluetooth speaker such as this: One, HD advertised sound quality was mentioned, and Two, 8 hour battery life. Well the price was definitely one I wouldn't lose sleep over if this unit got damaged and became inoperable but I was a bit skeptical about its claimed advertised battery life. Why? Because I was Naive enough to pay more than twice this speaker's price for an iHome Bluetooth speaker which made similar claims but would only last 6 hours, tops! And when accidently dropped once, was trash! Bad idea buying anything "iHome" (my second purchase from them... The first one lasted less than a month before it died with no drops or damage... Just died all by itself. Well you know the saying: "Buy once and it breaks, shame on you... Buy twice and it breaks, shame on me!" ... Lol.Anyway, back to this speaker. Not only has the battery life exceeded its advertised claim... I get ten to twelve hours of constant jamming music per charge, it got dropped three times, once from a moving industrial vehicle and (admittedly dented on its soft aluminum casing) never once failed in its performance, sound quality or given up even a minute of its battery life. Now that says a lot in my book. BTW... The sound quality out performed that cube from iHome and if placed on something hollow, like a roll of shipping (packing) tape it gives me even deeper base.Well it's not anything like my Bose Soundlink, but I'm not going to pay $300 for a speaker and bring that into a manufacturing facility and it certainly isn't as booming as the large Jawbone "Brick"... But for the price this speaker is selling at, IT'S A STEAL! And worth every penny. What a deal. I couldn't be more happy for the purpose I bought this unit for, it Amazed Me. Literally, amazed me and outperformed beyond my best expectations. Worth every penny... Five stars from me. :-D

So I bought this because it was cheaper and I was already ordering something on amazon, my complaints would be bluetooth range is pretty limited, I have seen other devices that work much further than this one with my exact same phone. This barely makes the open air distance between my living room and kitchen (~30ft). The other couple things that are annoying is it doesn't come with a power supply, it comes with a relatively short and proprietary charging cord that ends in a standard USB plug, my problems with this are if I want to charge keep it plugged into the wall so it's always charging or powered on I need a USB block which while I have plenty of I don't think everyone will have extras. The other thing is if you lose this little cord you are SOL, instead of making the plug a micro-usb or something pretty universal now the cable is a ridiculously small round charging plug which I presume you have to rebuy if you misplace.The fact that you can charge it and put it anywhere is kind of nice so you aren't tethered to the wall.Buttons are a little weird and unnecessary, you have to push down the side of the device to enable it to be found and run several other commands such as skip, play, pause, etc. which didn't work for me though I was streaming pandora, maybe others would find this useful but I just want to put it in a corner and forget about it or control music from my ipad or phone not from the device.Connectivity is a bit clunky too, everytime you want to use this you have to connect to it via bluetooth, which would be fine except for to enable it to be found you have to turn the thing on or even if it is on hold the "button" down on it for a few seconds to make it findable. You shouldn't have to do this I don't want to have to get up and touch the wireless device to make it work I just want to be able to connect from sitting down.My last complaint would be about sound quaility, it was pretty crappy no matter what I streamed over it. I don't expect top of the line quality for it's price but for it's price I expected something comparable to other devices on the market in this range.
