Best sock I've ever worn
I had never tried alpaca socks, but hate wool socks. I decided to give it a try for a long backpacking trip in Arizona. I needed it to remain calm & not retain sweat during the hot 5 mile day hike, but provide me enough warmth for 30-50 degree weather at the campsite.I could not have been more impressed by these Hollow alpaca socks! Sooooo comfortable, zero sweat, and my feet were never hot or cold no matter what I put them through. It even held up well when getting wet from waterfalls or rain.I strongly recommend these Hollow alpaca socks over ANY wool socks.Purchased more in various colors and sizes.

As good as advertised-
I was skeptical of paying $20 for socks but they’re great socks.Alabama heat and humidity can be brutal on our feet but the temperature control aspect of these make them game changers. I will definitely buy more Hollow Socks in the future.

Just found out these are NOT made out of alpaca, they're
Hollow socks are made out of less than 50% alpaca wool. I bought a couple pairs of them and I recently looked up the material content. They should do better and advertise these as alpaca BLEND because their actually 47% Alpaca Fiber, 47% USA Nylon and 6% Spandex. These keep my feet a little warmer than my Dickey's polyester wool blend so they definitely do the job.The socks are a little small and halfway through the night my feet start feeling the tightness and I have to swap them with something else so I suggest ordering one size larger.

Will not keep feet dry
Feet didn’t stay as dry as advertised. However, very comfortable to wear all day working asphalt and concrete. Would buy another set.

no sweat, controls itch
My 10 yr boy suffers from extremely sweaty, stinky, itchy feet. These socks are the only socks that knock out the sweat and itch. He begged for more. They are the ONLY socks he will wear because if not they itch so bad.I do feel like at first they helped a ton with odor but not anymore. Also, he has fibers stuck to his feet constantly and they also come off in the wash some. They also get tiny balls or tangled fibers in areas after use.

Horrible socks
I hated these socks. I just wore them for the first time out in Yellowstone park while camping and wish I had better results with them.Did not keep the feet warm at all. I did get them wet at one point in the trip and they took forever to dry out. Once dried they looked like they were years old.I’ll stick to my darn thought and smart wool socks over these ones. The fabric pilled up horribly upon drying out also. Would not recommend
