Love it!!
Listen, I'm a lip stain girly. I wish I could do lipstick and I have a bunch of it, but I don't like the feel, the re-application, and I cannot find *my shade*. I used the old CG lip stains but the colors I like always get sold out or I can't find them. I am so pleased with this one, the color I got is in the photo. Easy to apply, beautiful color, and if you don't want it super dark you can easily take off excess color with a Qtip. Definitely recommend for a natural look and feel as well as a bold one depending on how heavy you wear it. (See the photo with 2 layers vs 1 layer lighly dabbed up). Definitely versatile. Bonus: it doubles as liner, so you can overline your lips with it too.Now I have to get more colors!

Great product
I've been using this lipstick for years. It's a stain that stays on and can be used as a lip liner or for entire lip. Doesnt go orange. I've used pinks and nudes. My daughters keep taking mine! They like it too.Unscented. No odd taste. Long lasting product because you don't need much. Good value.

It works very well but unfortunately it dries out a little bit too quick. Or I got a bad one
I absolutely love this and I'm getting more colors but I didn't like that it only lasts for maybe a month possibly if you're using it all the time!‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️😘🆒😍🤩 Besides it drying out too quickly for me it is definitely worth the money. And I'm definitely buying again. It's not sticky at all. It looks great. The wear lasts for a good minute. And the application is super easy.

Favorite!
I like lip stains, so I can put on color and not worry about it because my lips are so pale. It lifts my spirits. This lip stain really works. I didn't find it drying at all, but I do like stains, so I don't expect them to moisturize. Put this on, let it dry (it's not drying at all), then put a gloss over it and that's it, just use gloss or ChapStick or whatever your fav is the rest of the day. It stays all day, doesn't come off on your teeth, cups, anything. I'd recommend following the directions, which are simple - don't put it on after a chapstick or anything. Put it on dry lips first thing. The colors are intense, as usual with stains, so I dot them around then smooth on the brighter shades. I like the suga-one, it's a neutral that you can add other colors to, if you want to.

It really does stain
If you're looking for a stain in not-plain red color, this is your product. Although bear in mind it feels just like a marker on your lips, and you have to be very precise with the application, the color is buildable but if you're not careful it can get patchy. If you have dry spot on your lips, I wouldn't recommend.Various influencers love this product as a lip liner stain, and as that this product is 10/10. But I have found that I can paint my lips with this product and just apply a balm on top and my lips would have color for 24+ hours.

Mixed feelings about this
So it kind of comes off and if you put like a lip gloss lip stain over, it starts to look weird and bleeds I tried using it on its own definitely dries your lips out. So use a chapstick with it. Maybe on its own it’s OK but I feel like them up when I start drinking water it bleeds on my lip line. And this is hours after putting it on. I also feel like it fades. You definitely have to wear it with lip liner and reapply consistently.

Wanted to love this, but SO drying.
I used to love this lip tint in 2013 when it was branded as a Twilight Just Bitten collection LOL… I was pumped to see them re-release. The old packaging was a chubby marker with a semi transparent cap; the new packaging is a sleek slim marker that is completely opaque matte on the outside. Kind of liked the old packaging better but the new one saves space in makeup kits, so there’s that.I was a teen when I first loved this stuff so maybe I wasn’t as aware of my likes and dislikes with makeup, but I don’t remember it being SO incredibly drying and in particular, patchy. I got a nude beige color and it clung to every single crack and dry patch on my lips, really emphasizing them in an unflattering way. And, I’m someone who is always hydrating my lips and exfoliating with a silicone pad, so I was shocked to see how dried out my lips looked after applying. The patchiness also forced me to reapply for the sake of uniformity which made it hard to get a natural tint finish; instead the nice beige color almost turns into a wine stain shade because of the need to go over the application a bunch to smooth things out. This can be kind of be saved with balm or gloss, but I just feel like it still looks patchy and almost like my lips are irritated, not stained. I really wanted to love this but don’t foresee myself reaching for this very often. Hoping some more hydrating lip tints with less alcohol in them come out soon.

YAAASSS COVERGIRL
I have been WAITING for COVERGIRL to bring this product back - so I'm THRILLED! And the product does NOT disappoint 💕💕💕For anyone who remembers the old lip stains, this one is the better-thought-out fully-realized updated version. Like COVERGIRL was a part of the trend back in the day for lip stains, and they are now the TRENDSETTERS!There is a light scent (so no more Crayola marker smells that were all too common with old marker-style lip stains), and there are so many colour options to choose from! (Lip stains don't need to just berry pinks anymore)Another thing that is great about this updated formula is that it's not drying out all the moisture from my lips. And I found that it applies evenly (instead of clinging to any dry spots on my lips). I often just use the lip stain alone, but it also works well under a clear or lightly tinted balm/oil/gloss.I had some self control and only bought one colour to start, but I definitely plan on buying some additional colours soon! 🥰 (COVERGIRL, feel free to hook a girl up xo)

Doesn't last more than 30 minutes
Beautiful color but it drys my lips out and is completely gone in less than 30 minutes. Save your money!

Dried out and patchy colour!
So this Covergirl lipstain is not it! I love the idea of having a lip stain in a pen form but this one is just dry and patchy. The tip is awful at dispensing out product, it’s dry. The colour payoff is weak and very patchy. I would not recommend.

Long Stay
Super easy to apply and lomg staying. Lasts about 5 hours. I outline the lips, add chapstick and spread to lighten it a little. It's a little darker than I thought it would be.

Long lasting!
This is a true stain. It lasts a long time so I have to be careful when applying so it’s a bit finicky but I use it as a lipliner and it works great. It was a bit drying but I think that’s to be expected for a stain.
