We have used these when metposts, concrete and a lump hammer and lots of coarse language have failed. Simple to hammer in and keep.straight, these supports have helped our coastal garden fences survive their usual battering. Highly recommended.

I used the product to stabilise a 2 metre wooden fence post, which was moving extensively due to ground conditions. It was fairly easy to hammer into the ground using a lump hammer. I used wadding to cushion the blows as there was a little distortion of the metal after a few blows. The pilot drill supplied for the screws actually snapped in use, so I used one of my own. The screws drove in easily using the hex head bit supplied. I now have a much more stable post. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the second spike to stabilise another post. As I hit concrete about half a metre below the surface. A lesson here, test the ground by driving a stake in before you buy.

Used the product for stabilising existing fence posts along a boundary line comprising 6-foot fence panels. Straightforward to install. Good product.

These stakes are not magic but they work well with posts that are not set in concrete.

needed to reinforce a fence that had had some ivy weighing it down (top heavy acrodd the trellis) and these diod the trick. My neighbour and I each bought a set of two - he did 2 posts on his side and I did the same on mine. Worked well. easy(ish) to install - my posts were set in concrete so teh offset wasnt bigenough for one of my posts - so probably worth checking before purchase - but otherwise excellent. slightly on the expensive side - but they do work. Hopefull these will keep the fence in good nick ( prevent them from wobbling in higher winds etc)

I purchased 4 of these to do an emergency repair of 4 wobbly fence posts. Upon opening the box, I was concerned at the the thin gauge of the metal used in their construction. The welds looked poor and definitely not substantial for the job in hand. One of the stakes had no weld at all so was useless and one of the others the weld failed as I was knocking it into the ground. I managed to get 2 of the stakes into the ground and fixed but I really don't think they will last 5 minutes. Sent 2 of the stakes back to Amazon as needed the other 2 to support the fence whilst organise a better repair. Certainly wouldn't bother buying these!
