I wasn't sure what brand to buy as I've had a few different ones in the past, to compare this to those others it's not bad, but it doesn't seem to be very 'juicy', I have to use this 2 or even 3 times before getting the image set enough to add the embossing powder, I did have a re-inker but can't find it otherwise I would have added more to it, the pad itself is fine not too firm but not really soft either, I've had some that have been which I wouldn't purchase again, I would say this is a fair pad as a backup but it wouldn't be my go to one for regular use.
