I had outpatient surgery but I ordered this before. I am so glad that I did because this has helped me breathe so much better, not to mention, heal a lot faster! This whole unit is so easy to use and is a lot more sturdier than the one they gave at the hospital. The device itself has allowed me to open my lungs a lot more and I didn't have the nasty after effect of anesthesia for days that I normally do. This also helped with loosening up built-up phlegm that I had after surgery. For me, this device has been effective and when it comes to using, really easy to use. With this device, instead of blowing, I have to suck in air through the mouthpiece. I thought that would be easy to reach my goal but I was wrong. This has really been a workout for my lungs which has really benefited me so much!
