Well it's not really brass it may look like brass but if you sand it you'll see also brass is not magnetic but this stuff is.Read the fine print..

Take a look at my two photos. This 1/8” thick bar stock is NOT 1/8” thick. It measures at 0.115”, NOT 0.125”, plus it is HEAVILY grooved with some cheap feeling streaks and ridges that further reduce the actual thickness. It requires quite a bit of work to smooth it down to the finish level of, for example, K&S brass stock if you know that hobby supplier’s materials. They come individually and wrapped to protect them from damaging scratches, and that is a joke. They are MADE WITH THEM ALREADY IN PLACE! It cuts, machines and polishes like brass, just don’t buy this stock if you need true 1/8” thickness.

Brace good quality

Blue film came off fine however surface was awful. Deep scratches and lines. Was extra gummy to cut. Was the worst brass alloy I’ve ever worked with

It would be a lot easier to remove corrosion than it is to remove this protective blue film.Salvageable, but certainly wouldn't buy these again.

Lower quality without much finishing

For the price I would expect higher quality. Protective film is some cut rate tape that is impossible to remove. Under tape there is jaw damage. Very disappointing.
