Great reminder to work on ourselves!
You Can’t Leave The House Naked is a great reminder of the importance of focusing on ourselves. Our appearance and how we present ourselves, for most people anyway, is directly related to our confidence which I didn’t really realize until I read this book. I know when I’m in ‘dumpy clothes’ I would not do a Zoom meeting or want to chat with a neighbor looking this way. I find myself hiding in these instances. I will change clothes and put on make up before going out to the store or the office. Ultimately that means I am not happy with certain clothes I wear regularly, and how they look on me. This book took me on an eye opening journey into my closet and my brain. 😊YCLTHN was light, fun and funny! I loved Lindsey’s examples and stories as I can relate on so many levels. This book is packed full of great advice that I feel anyone can apply to their individual situation. This book is for anyone wanting a change for the better. I highly recommend it!!

Dress to live on purpose
I definitely need some guidance in the closet and this book delivered. The 10 Day exercises made me feel like the author was on the journey with me.Here are few golden nuggets the book helped me through:1. I realized I ‘dress to not be seen’. Why do I only wear black and beige?2. Why it’s important to clear out the closet3. Plan my outfit around comfy shoes (loved this idea)4. Dress to live on purposeThis would be a playful book to read with a friend and complete the challenges together.Overall, I loved the messages in this book, it was a refreshing and inspiring read. A book we haven’t seen on the shelves yet.

Wonderful book!
I so enjoyed reading this book. It was relatable, easy to read. It felt like hanging out with a friend and getting some great advice too.For many years, I feel like I have held onto pieces that are sentimental, that I paid a lot for, or don’t suit my current style anymore (or various other reasons). This book helped me move through that and take actionable steps to just move on from them.I really loved this little book. I can also see myself revisiting it to enjoy what I read once again or maybe takeaway something new I missed the first time around. My closet feels happier and so do I. Great book!

My poor sweatpants…,.
As someone who has been wearing sweats and dealing with the inevitable changes of perimenopause, let me tell you I didn't expect this book to change my life. But it has! The whole concept of the Happy Closet is incredible and the entire change in my mindset and mood is lifted when I look at my steadily joy-depleting closet. Everything I see makes me happy--and it's still a work in progress but I'm so excited to finish. See ya later sweats!!

Everyone needs this book, if they know it or not.
This is a lighthearted but profound book about how to make your clothes and your closet work for you. I finished it wanting a happy closet and knowing how to get it. I appreciated all the honest and refreshing tips, especially coming from a woman who makes a living off of selling clothes. If you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, this book is for you.
