Sturdy and holds well.
I have 3 sonos era 300s mounted with these brackets. They are all pretty sturdy. I have them mounted to studs because the era 300s already heavily and I wouldn't mount this just to drywall with anchors.

The most tense review I have ever experienced.
Let's get the basics out of the way. It installs fairly easy, the brackets are sturdy, and it's way, way more affordable than other mounts for Era 300s.The materials all seem to be sturdy and good quality. Instalation was probably easier than I was making it out to be, but that has more to do with trusting my speakers to wall mounts than anything to do with the instructions. And they feel secure to the wall.Your speaker is secured to the bracket by included screws, then you simply slide your speaker onto the wall mount, and it will click into place. It comes with wall anchors for the wall mount, but there was no way I was trusting anchors with my Eras, so I elected to go with the more awkwardly positioned, but stronger wall studs. So why would I feel tense about writing this? Well, because I know how people feel about their Era 300s. I know people wouldn't feel safe, trusting their pride and joys to brackets that literally cost an 1/8th of the price of some competitors.I'll be honest in admitting I regretted ordering these initially, only because I had those very same thoughts. But they've been mounted for about 3 weeks, with a couple of young kids, and a cat that doesn't respect boundaries, and my speakers are still held secure. The scariest, but most impressive part is how such a big and heavy speaker could be secured, using a relatively small mount, but as you can see in the pictured, they've succeeded.

Nice mount
These wall mounts are great for the Sonos surround speakers. The heft and feel of these seemed as expected for a quality product. I like them; they seem heavy-duty enough to support the speakers yet hide behind them in the room. Easy to install with the provided template and drywall screws I already had on hand. I see several people complain about the lack of drywall screws, but frankly, I prefer to use a specific style of drywall mount, which is the big plastic screw that the mount screw goes into. So, I suspect if they included something, I would not want to use it anyway. They do swivel slightly from side to side so I can aim them appropriately for the room. Overall, it is a quality product that I am comfortable pairing with my expensive speakers.

Solid mount but should have included special drywall anchors
I like this mount so much, I got another set but my review of the individual mount remains trueSo my main beef with this mount is the non-inclusion of proper drywall anchors. Of course no anchors are needed if mounting over wood studs. If mounting over brick or concrete, the plastic anchors are included. However, I would imagine the vast majority of users are going to mount over drywall behind which they may or may not be able to locate studs. In fact, I would venture to guess that many people are going to mount there Era 300 in a corner, making locating studs with enough clearance for the large speaker problematic. So, for the instructions to tell you to 'contact a contractor' or something like that if you're going to mount directly into drywall without a stud behind kind of rubs me the wrong way.Anyway, for me, I had this exact issue and spent way too long trying to locate a suitably placed stud in the corner of the room where I was going to mount the speaker. But, after a couple hours (yes, hours), I finally got it done. Yes, I know I could have gone to a big box hardware store and found the correct anchors for the drywall, but not at midnight when I was actually doing this.Regardless, after less than a day, the mount seems stable. I have it high up in the corner, so I actually want it angled down (ie, not flat and level) as well as twisted towards the center of the room. The way the mount works allows for these adjustments.Only time will tell how stable the mount remains consider the weight of the speaker. I will update my review if anything changes in that or any other respect.

Excellent Era 300 Speaker mounts that swivel
These wall mounts are perfect for the Era 300 surround speakers. I did not use the anchors they came with since I wanted them to be symmetrical and wasn't able to get them into studs. The speakers are heavy so I had my doubts, but they have held up well so far. Easy to install and love the fact they do swivel slightly from side to side. I will say after mounting though, I prefer to stand for them, but my wife disagrees.
