Eagle ClawStrike Alert Fishing Bell

I know what it suppose to be but It's not, do not assume like I did

To be honest the bell & clapper itself is of really poor quality and has an absolute dull ring to it which is uninspiring. For this I would have given it 2 stars. They should use a brass bell for the money they charge for this, and that would have made a much greater difference in sound ( Even stainless would have been much denser to produce better sound, and maybe justify the price.) I found similar bells for $1 each that sound better. You can get a whole pack of 4 square copper bells from Wal-Mart for a $1.78 that produce more sound than these. I must also add that the clip & the spring used to attach the bell is the strongest and best quality I have ever seen in any bell. For this I gave it an extra star for a total rating of three stars. As I stated previously, if "Eagle Claw" used a brass bell this would have been the best product and highest selling bell on any market bar none. You would be astounded how many people I talk to that are serious off-shore anglers that are passionate about purchasing a good quality bell but have been disappointed thus far by inferior products. I drilled the clasps of this bell and custom made my own brass bells using their high quality clips & spring.

they worked ok but wish they were a little louder but they are ok
