Great patch panel for house or small office
I realize that most people do not have server racks in their home, so this is most likely for an office, but it also works quite well in my rack at home. This patch panel is made to fit into a standard rack, and have removable keystone jacks for easy maintenance.I know it says this on the description, but this is NOT a punchdown panel, it is specifically made at a Female/Female patch panel, so the incoming wires need to already be terminated into an RJ45 connector. Which again works great for my purposes. The cable management in the back is pretty standard and workable. I spend a lot of time dressing my cables for neatness, and this gives me what i need to make sure that the cables are well tamed and there is strain relief on each cable inserted into the back of the panel. All in all i think this is a great product, for office OR home, and I would highly recommend that you consider this if you are in the market for a keystone patch panel!

Nice patch panel with swappable keystones
Review of: **FGB 1U 24 Port Patch Panel and Cat6 RJ45 Shielded Keystone Coupler, 19" Rackmount or Wall Mount Patch Panel with Back Bar, Network Patch Panel for Gigabit Network Switchh**I'll be installing a couple of patch panels in a rack for a new home build next year, and need quite a bit of connectivity for the security cameras, WiFI APs, various network ports and a bunch of A/V equipment. I;'m currently estimating I'll need about 40-50 ports, so this 24 port patch panel is going to be the perfect start for these connections. The panel has standard mounting ears for a 19" rack, and includes all the necessary hardware to attach to the rack rails. The 24 keystones included with the panel are female to female, but I will be wiring most of my incoming Cat6 cables directly to keystones, so I will be swapping a bunch of these out. I tested this already and confirmed that the included keystones come out as expected and my new ones pop in nicely. The rack also comes with an optional wire tie-down strip for the back, including zip ties. If you don't want or need this, it can be easily detached. There is also a grounding wire attached, if you want to confirm the panel itself is grounded. I also like the labels above the panel with covers so you can mark each port. Nice feature.I have no idea why they label this as "Cat 6", since the rack and keystones are appropriate for Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7, etc. Anything that uses a standard RJ45 or comparable sized keystone jack opening.Overall, for the current $45 price (with 10% off coupon), this is a very good panel for most consumers. FGB does make another panel that is nearly identical except it has all black connectors and ears, and it's about 20% cheaper.

Solid patch panel
This is a solidly built patch panel. I love how it uses keystones instead of the punch down in the back. I can easy swap cables in and out without having to pull the entire panel out to punch down. I won't be going back to the punch down type after owning this keystone style.

Good option for rack mount network patch panel
This patch panel fit perfectly in the omnimount rack. It came with hardware that was good quality and the fit was on point. It's sturdy, looks good, and network cables plug in with a nice audible snap. The keystones can be removed if you wan to swap with different colors. This FGB panel is the shielded version, meaning for the shielding to work shielded CAT6 cabling also needs to be used with connectors. This model works fine with unshielded network cables. Overall very happy with this item. So much so, that I bought another one!

High quality network patch panel
This is a great addition to the server rack. It provides a nice, clean connection point to the rack for all the network cabling. Each port is labeled with a number and has a keystone connector installed. The model I purchased is the Cat6 RJ45 Shielded Keystone version so the connectors are stainless rather than plastic. These keystones can be removed if you wanted to add your own color scheme. The rack mount panel fit perfectly in the Omnimount Design rack. It came with all necessary hardware and zip ties. The panel feels solid, not flimsy.

A Good Addition if you want to use Jacks vice Punchdowns
I have never been good at using punchdown blocks or connectors, so when I saw that this used keystones, and that I could swap out those couplers, I ordered it. And I am happy I did.The unit is sturdy, though it will bow if you don't pay attention when it's not mounted. It mounts well to my 19" wire rack and the ability to swap out keystones if needed is great. This particular unit has shielded keystones, which is a definite plus so as to eliminate cross talk or interference from other equipment. The included keystones are all female-to-female RJ45, which works great for me as I can simply use prefabricate cables as I need to. If you need other types of keystones, like COAX or USB, you will need to get those keystones seperately. Also, the unit comes with a mountable stress-relief bar, which helps with the longevity of your cables and keystones. The bar works with velcro straps or zip ties. Of course, this is optional if you have other cable management features in place.

Tut was es soll
Für was kauft man so ein Patchpanel? Genau das erledigt es und - sehr wichtig - es ist absolut stabil und wertig. Sieht hochwertig aus, ist es auch. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das ein paar Jahre halten wird.
